Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Brandy! Brandy is a 3-year-old, 35 lb Puggle/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. She is a truly sweet and loving girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Brandy is on the shy side and can be a bit skittish at first, especially in new environments or around loud noises. She’ll need a patient, understanding home that can provide her with a consistent routine, gentle guidance, and the time she needs to build confidence at her own pace. Once Brandy feels safe and comfortable, her personality really shines. She becomes quirky, spunky, goofy, and silly with her people ~ a total “goober” who brings lots of joy and laughs to those she trusts. She’s done great with other dogs and would love to have a confident canine companion in the home to help her continue gaining confidence. She’s also done well with people, though we feel she’d do best in a home without young children due to her sensitivity to sudden noises and commotion. Brandy has not been tested with cats. Brandy would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a medium-sized dog with a soft heart and a big personality waiting just beneath the surface! Brandy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Here's some info on my little bud Hunter. He's a puggle and about 13 years old and in great shape for his age. He still can outrun me. Loves to play and grabs his toys soon as he gets in from a walk or when I arrive. He loves to cuddle and can sleep all day if nothing to do. Loves going on hikes. Hunter is super chill with doggies and kids. When it comes to other dogs he mostly will just sniff them. Sometimes he like a dog and will follow. I've had him since he was just a few weeks old and would love for him to be in a place where he gets tons of love and more interaction and exercise. He loves being outside, hikes and camping. He's part beagle so super food motivated. Will do anything for food. I feel like this is the one thing that will keep him going a long time 😂 He's a good little old man and I'm hoping to find him a home where he gets the love he deserves. P.s. I just signed up for a plan with Banfield which includes unlimited vet visits along with some other perks.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Hercules** **Survivor Boy** Meet Hercules This sweet young French Bulldog-Chihuahua was dumped in the shelter. My heart sank as soon as I saw him. We are full is said to myself, "I can't save another..." Days went by, and no rescue stepped up for him. Mona mentioned he was out of time and on the list to be euthanized. I held out, just maybe someone would come for him.. NOTHING! I couldn't take it. Something in his eyes called for me. The fear, the confusion, the "knowing" that death happens here. I wrote to Mona, "Is Hercules still alive?" She said, "Let Me Check." "Yes, he is, but this is it, he is out of time, and the shelter is closing" "Mona, save him for me, please." The video says it all. He was listed as a biter. People were afraid to take a chance on him. His eyes told me he was just afraid and did not want to die." Look how thankful he is to be alive in the video. I want to find the absolute best person/couple/family for Hercules. He is young, under a year old. He needs a committed person he can give his heart to who will love him til the day he leaves this earth. If that is you, contact me. Hercules is only 10 pounds and will not likely grow any larger. He is a lapdog and a dog who will give you his soul. I will entertain a trial adoption for the right applicant. He is thrilled to be eating regularly, going for car adventures, and meeting all the kids in his foster family's neighborhood. Turbo grew up with a Labrador, and the dogs were separated. Turbo needs a dog companion to be happy, preferably one who is very playful and can run and chase in the yard. Turbo is an all-around happy guy, and we are seeking a forever family or person(s) who live an active life, have time to train, love a young dog, and offer him the promise of adventures and plenty of time with his people. **Adopting Turbo** To adopt Turbo, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup.
