Story
With one blue eye and one brown eye and her adorable, wiry coat, Sally is an absolute stunner! She’s much smaller than she appears in her pics- about 25 lbs?! Maybe a wire haired Jack Russell/cattle dog type mix? Sally was found under a shed with a litter of puppies. An incredible volunteer dug them out and brought this little family to Circle2. She is now finished raising her babes, and Sally's pearly white teeth say she’s just a young lady herself. We’ll know more when she sees the vet on Tuesday! It’s apparent that she’s seen some hard times in her short life, as she’s currently quite shy and unsure of her surroundings. Still, her kind nature is evident as she never reacts with any sign of aggression when startled, and she’s definitely starting to enjoy attention. Sally will definitely need a patient home, and would benefit from being in a house with other well adjusted pets- she’s definitely taking cues from her canine foster siblings, and was happy to go nose to nose with a feline! Small children are a no-go, but older, dog savvy kiddos should be fine!  The future is bright for sweet Sally- we are sure that she will blossom into a lovely canine companion! In the meantime, she’ll be busy learning about the good life and getting more confident in her foster home until the right people come along for her.  If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2641747##

Story
Meet Taylor Taylor is a lot softer than she looks—both in her coat and her heart. She tends to prefer smaller dogs over larger ones and can be a little possessive of her favorite spot (your lap!). She’s fully potty trained and is listed as a terrier mix, but her personality is all dachshund—loving, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Taylor enjoys playtime, but she also loves her naps and will always choose snuggling up against someone whenever possible. ***Arriving in Colorado on January 28th from Carlsbad New Mexico, Not available for adoption until February 7th***   Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2634022##

Story
Granny arrives in Colorado Saturday 2/7/2026 and needs a committed foster home or adopter to welcome her! Granny is a 4-5 year old, small but mighty 10 pound Terrier mix who was running the streets of Texas. No, not like the mafia, running with her legs. She wasn't going to trust just anybody with a piece of burger, who knows what she's been through, so she had to be trapped. Once brought into a safe home, it took her a few days to warm up so she will need an understanding and patient adopter to allow for some decompression time. Once she's built some trust and comfy cozy, she will roll over and show you her belly. It's important that you rub that belly. Granny is missing an eye but she isn't in any pain or require any current or future treatment. It was decided not to remove her eye as it would have been strictly for cosmetic purposes and she was already a babe who didn't need to be put through a surgery after all she's been through.  Granny loves a good snuggle under the blankets. If she is "missing," you might want to go check for a peaceful, napping Granny underneath a blanket pile. She also loves going outside and running through the tunnels at her rescuers house. A good mix of energy and chill. Granny can live with or without dogs- she's good with other dogs but doesn’t play with them. She's good with kids, crate trained, mostly potty trained and never barks. She's not super into walking on leash so she'd do best with a yard and someone willing to encourage and work on leash training so she can benefit from all the adventures a leash can lead to. Granny is currently living in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting an adopter or open foster home in Colorado to bring her up and into their home! ***Granny is being posted on behalf of our partner rescue in Texas- the process and adoption will go through them. The adoption fee does not include the transport fee (usually $125-200/dog).*** Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio. ##2650481##
