Story
Meet Sadie Sadie is a sweet girl with a gentle heart who’s looking for a calm, understanding home to call her own. She loves other dogs and does well with both young and older pups. While she’s pretty social with her canine friends, cats just may not be her thing. This girl lives for a good game of fetch and will happily show off her frisbee-catching skills! Once she feels comfortable, her playful, fun-loving personality really shines. Sadie can be a little nervous with new or frequent changes, so she needs a patient human who will move slowly with her and give her the time and reassurance she needs to build trust. A calm, steady environment will help her feel safe and confident. She would do well with kids or older children who are dog-savvy and understand how to respectfully interact with her. Due to unexpected changes in her current family dynamics we feel Sadie would truly thrive in a home better suited to her personality and needs. Sadie is about a year old and 30 lbs and currently up to date on all her vetting.  She’s not looking for perfect — just patient. And in return, she’ll give you her whole heart. buttsmutts.com ##2596548##

Story
Have you heard the news??? Zara is available to be adopted . . . with NO ADOPTION FEE!! A huge thanks goes to Animal Legal Defense Fund for this! Because of ALDF, actress Kate Mara is sponsoring the adoption fee for some of our amazing dogs! Wow - can you believe it?? You can adopt one of our great dogs, and spend the adoption fee on new toys, soft beds, and yummy treats instead! ara, named Blyss at the shelter, ended up there when someone called and said there was a dog on their front porch. We don't know if she was lost, or someone had dumped her, but no one came to get her, until we did. This girl, who we think is a mix of rat terrier, min pin and a little bit of pittie, is a petite girl. She weighed 29 pounds when we pulled her from the shelter, and was a bit underweight, with some filling out to do. She is about 2 years old now, and is at her perfect weight, weighing about 38 pounds. She has a slender little body with long legs, a beautiful red brindle coat, and ears for days! If you have wanted a dog to do dog sports with - like agility - this sweet athletic girl may be a great fit for you! Like all of our dogs, Zara is in Atlanta. She can be adopted at any time, and will be available to go to her new home when she graduates from the program in mid-December. November 1, 2024, 6:01 pm

Story
Reintroducing Boo-Boo: Your loyal sidekick! Age: 6 Months | Weight: 23 lbs of pure love Status: Fully vaccinated and ready for adventure! Puppies grow and change so fast, we thought it was time to share some updated information on sweet Boo-Boo. If you’re looking for a medium-sized best friend with a large-sized heart, Boo-Boo is your guy! Now 6-months old and a sturdy 23 lbs., Boo-Boo has officially graduated from the baby phase and is ready to take on the world. While his name might be Boo-Boo, he’s anything but a mistake! He’s a smart, affectionate rat terrier mix who embodies the best of the breed: he’s clever, loyal, and incredibly sweet. Why Boo-Boo is the best: Social butterfly: Boo-Boo is a friend to all! He’s great with other dogs once he’s had been properly introduced. He’d love a canine sibling to wrestle with, but he’s also happy being your one-and-only. Housetraining hero: As long as he has a human who can take him out for frequent "business trips," he holds it well indoors at his foster home most of the time, though he's still learning. Versatile living: Now that his puppy shots are complete, he’s ready to explore! While he’d think a fenced-in yard is a total dream for zoomies, sunbathing, and exploration, he would be ok without one as long as he gets plenty of time. Food motivated=trainable: This puppy (like most puppies) loves treats, so he should be easy to train for tricks and manners. The ultimate shadow: True to his rattie roots, Boo-Boo wants to be where the action is. Whether you’re folding laundry or watching a movie, expect a warm chin on your knee and a wagging tail by your side. Boo-Boo is looking for a family to continue his training and give him all the head scratches he can handle. Is your home the one he’s been waiting for? Find more photos at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/booboo If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info.February 10, 2026, 6:41 pm
