Story
***Seeking Foster-to-Adopt per upcoming dental work** Meet Easy – the dog who lives up to his name in the best way possible. No chaos, no drama, just chill vibes, soulful eyes, and a strong preference for couch cuddles. 🛋️💕 This gentle guy is quiet as a mouse (unless your dog starts something first – then he might politely chime in). He's good with other dogs, cool with older kids, and totally unbothered by busy streets or squirrels with bad attitudes. 🐿️ Easy is housebroken (he’ll give you a little whine when nature calls), learning to self-soothe like a true zen master, and while he’d prefer to always have you in his line of sight, he’s making strides in the solo department. He’s also a big fan of walks and will happily trot along like your shy, polite little shadow. His only beef? Car rides. Not a fan. At night, just tuck his crate beside your bed, and he’ll settle in like a little bedtime angel. He hasn’t met cats yet, but so far, he’s shown zero prey drive—unlike certain other dogs we know side-eye at resident dog. Basically, Easy is the emotional support dog you didn’t know you needed—quiet, cuddly, and sweet to his core. Adopt this old soul and level up your snuggle game. If you are interested in finding out more about Easy, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
MEET SQUEEGEE!This lovely lady is known for gently placing her tennis balls into peoples` hands to try and get them to play fetch with her! At only seven years old, Squeegee is still a spry little dog with plenty of energy but has the added bonus of having a good foundation with handling and potty training. Squeegee was described by her previous owners as a cuddle bug who loves toys and has killer puppy dog eyes that make it difficult to say no to playing one more round of fetch with her! Squeegee would prefer to live in a low-traffic adult/teens only home that can give her some time to adjust before taking her on fun adventures. This good girl could potentially do well living with a dog savvy cat! If she sounds like the girl for you, don`t hesitate to stop by the Dedham branch to meet our Squeegee!Squeegee is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Squeegee or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
