She will go in the crate for a treat and settles quickly, but will whine when it's time to get up in the morning.Bonnie has gotten along well with the dogs in her foster home, as well as the few dogs she has met when out and about. She has met a cat and was not interested in interacting.Bonnie knows basic commands and is highly treat-motivated, making her easy to train. She enjoys walks in the neighborhood  and does well just about anywhere you take her, and is learning to enjoy car rides. Story
Lucy is a sweet and worried lady who is looking for a quiet home. She will need some time and space to decompress. Once she is settled, Lucy loves hanging out with her family and social walks with other calm dogs. She has a good history of coexisting with a cat and living with children. Lucy is housebroken, although she may need a refresher after the shelter. And this girl is smart, smart, smart. Watch out! The biggest problem is that this pretty girl can be worried about strangers. She hopes her adopters will help her out when around new people. They will need to watch her body language and give her opportunities to meet the new people or abstain. Lucy is such a good girl. Would you like to meet her?

Story
Meet Alfalfa: a sassy little Rat Terrier with big opinions and zero interest in keeping them to himself.Alfalfa knows exactly what he wants out of life: daily walks, plenty of outdoor adventures, a chance to show off his impressive trick repertoire, and a cream cheese-filled Kong enjoyed in peace and dignity. He`s smart, spirited, and believes clear communication is the foundation of every good relationship—especially when it comes to his personal boundaries. This sassy gentleman is looking for an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who appreciate a dog who comes with both personality and preferences. Alfalfa isn`t looking to just be managed; he`s looking to be understood. In return, he`ll provide entertainment, companionship, and plenty of laughs.Alfalfa may enjoy sharing his home with a cat.If you`re a fan of clever dogs with strong opinions and even stronger charm, Alfalfa is ready to interview you for the position of `his person.`If you are interested in adopting Alfalfa please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm with all of the members of your home.

Story
Meet Sam, a 9-year-old neutered male Rat Terrier with a huge heart and deep devotion to his people. He has been loved since puppyhood, and we are seeking a home where he can truly thrive. Sam is affectionate, gentle, loyal, and happiest when included in daily life. He bonds closely and loves to relax near his person. He is fully house trained, crate trained, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has received excellent veterinary care and responds well to calm, consistent leadership. He is used to a training e-collar and understands structure. Sam would do best as the only dog in a peaceful home where someone is around often. He will come with his crate, bowls, toys, e-collar, and complete vet records. He has so much love to give and deserves a devoted forever home. We would love to meet potential adopters for a walk or hello!
