Nelson (Woody) Born 5/19/23; Terrier/Cur mix 20lbs Woody was adopted as a young puppy, amd returned for behavioral issues due to his energy not being met. With some structure, and lots of fetching, Woody is ready to roll! He loves to play, but loves to snuggle just as much. He very much wants to be in your business, and apart of everything. He loves going for cars rides too! He is house trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash. Woody is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Who needs a charming little sidekick? Say hello to INGRID, a lovely petite terrier-type mixed breed girl looking for a home. Ingrid is about 18 months old and fully grown at 14 pounds. Our best guess on breed is a rat terrier-type mix. She enjoys playing fetch in the yard, playing with other dogs and cuddling up with her people. She also loves to give kisses. Lots and lots of kisses. She's also a big fan of belly rubs. Ingrid didn't get a great start in life. She came to us from an abusive situation and it's taken a some time for her to learn that she's safe and nobody will ever hurt her again. We are so proud of our little girl for overcoming her fears and opening up to love and kindness. Ingrid is best suited to a quiet home where she won't need to meet lots of strangers. New people need to earn Ingrid's trust. Once Ingrid trusts you, she loves you with her whole heart. Ingrid is housebroken, crate trained and fine with cats and other dogs. She's best suited to a home with another friendly similar-sized dog. If you'd like to meet Ingrid, we are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Ingrid at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if she's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. She can be bossy with them so it’s best she doesn’t live with them. She can be around them safely for short visits. Miss Daisy aka Daisy Dukes or Dukes, is looking for her forever home. She’s a spunky senior Rat Terrier with lots of life and love left to give. Daisy loves people and she’d be a perfect fit for someone who is retired but still active, or someone who works from home, enjoys daily walks and would like to have a companion to join them. If she gets to be a lap dog, even better. In a perfect world, she’ll be showered with all of the attention and not have to share it with other pets. She is crate trained but, in all honesty, she doesn’t love it. Daisy is fine being left loose in the home when no one is there but she’s currently crated in her foster home as she does tend to be a little bossy with the other dogs at times. Daisy likes meeting new people and enjoys car rides, so if you like to go camping or travel around in an RV, she’d be a great companion for you.
