Our mama is a tiny little thing — a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix weighing just 20 lbs — but we were some BIG babies when we were born! We’re already tipping the scales at around 5 lbs each, so we’ll likely grow into wonderful medium-sized pups. What we may lack in size, we make up for in sweetness. We absolutely love attention and will happily soak up all the cuddles you’re willing to give. Kisses? We’ve got plenty to share! Playtime is one of our favorite times of day. Crinkle toys are at the top of our list (that sound is just too fun!), but honestly, we aren’t picky — if it’s a toy, we’re in! We love to romp, bounce, and then curl up for snuggles once we’ve worn ourselves out. We’re ready to bring love, laughter, and a toy basket full of fun into someone’s life. Are you that someone? She is house trained, does well on leash and likes car rides. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and with cats. She's a very sweet girl who loves all people. She likes to play in the yard in her foster home but she would also do well in an apartment. Poppy is not a barker and is calm. She loves to snuggle and sit on laps. Beau entered foster care due to a mismatch in his previous home, which included a cat and a young child. Beau is an active, observant, and food-motivated boy who enjoys walks, enrichment toys, and spending time with his people. He’s learning house manners and is making steady progress with house-training, including staying accident-free overnight. Beau can be a little shy at first, but warms up with calm handling and routine. Beau has interacted with dogs of a similar size without issue. Like many young terriers, he has a high activity level, and he’s still learning to keep his mouth to toys, so he does best in a home without young children.
