Story
Rocky won't ask you to take him to any parties. He is a shy, submissive loner who surprisingly doesn't like to be alone. He weighs 13 pounds and is a couch potato. He enjoys running, tugging, toys, walks, and chase. He wants to lead while on a leash. He's a good guard dog who is protective of his home. He is cautious, submissive, and jumpy around children as young as six but because of his fears and timidity he'll need to live with kids at least 15 years old so he isn't afraid. He is afraid of dogs and cats and didn't want either coming anywhere near his toys so he cannot live with a cat. He barks at dogs he meets during walks and plays rough with them at the dog park. You should consider bringing your dog to meet him as he might be happier being an only pet. He is house trained and spent his days either crated (where he feels safe) or in a room in his foster's home. In his originally home, he had free roam of the house and used a doggie dog to let himself out. His family gave him up because they moved to another country. He knows the come and no commands. He got into trouble for chewing, jumping, barking, and running away. He'll need time to warm up to you so please be patient. His foster said it took two weeks. If will be worth your while because then he will show affection and follow you everywhere. Please offer lovable Rocky the home and family he needs. (tw 5/1/2024)

Story
Hi, I'm Wilcrest. If you're a Houstonian, you may conclude how I got my name. I am sweet and shy at first but I'm friendly with cats, small dogs, and children. I love the safety of the my kennel and I even know where to go potty- outside! I am learning to walk on a leash and know that with practice, it'll be a perfect trip! I'm not too keen on being alone and will let you know. In order to be safe and secure, I need another pup in my forever home to help me come out of my shell. If you're looking for a companion to accompany you through life, I just might be your girl!

Story
Macy came from a person who said she found her. Macy is available for either in-state adoption or adoption and transport to another state. Macy looks like a rat terrier. We are guessing she is around 3 years of age and she weighs 15 pounds. As expected, she was a bit leery of the other dogs at first but now she is just as happy and playful as she can be. Macy is very affectionate and loves attention and pets. She likes to sit next to you on the couch and grumbles at the other dogs to keep them away so she can have all the attention. This is a bad habit and should not be encouraged. Macy is crate-trained and well-behaved in the house. She likes to roll herself up in a blanket when sleeping. Macy is getting chubby after her spay and her new family needs to take her on walks to lose weight. Macy is doing well with housetraining but may need more work. Because Macy is small, she must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt her. She must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Macy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, she will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Macy must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Macy is healthy. She is spayed and tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Macy has a $200 in-state adoption fee. Her out-of-state adoption fee is $450 and includes the cost of ground transport. She can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Macy is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this little sweet girl.
