Story
Hi, I'm Ms. Maezie! I am the sweetest, most loving 11 year old, 11 pound rat terrier mix you'll ever meet!💜 I'm on the search for a loving forever home because my one and only owner recently passed away. I am currently being fostered by a family friend, but would love to find a more permanent lap to lay upon. I am house trained, kennel trained, dog, cat, & kid friendly, and enjoy car rides. I'm excited to meet just about everyone. I like to play, but enjoy lounging on the couch as well. I'll do nearly anything as long as I'm near you. My shots are all up to date and am current on all my preventatives. My foster is willing to drive long distance to meet, and adoption fee for senior adopters is negotiable if it sounds like a good family match. Senior adopters are preferred, as retired, constant companion life is what I most enjoy.

Story
Meet Taz! Don’t let his size fool you—Taz has enough personality packed into his little body for a dog twice his size! This handsome terrier mix was pulled from Harris County alongside his kennel buddy, Mac, during our recent shelter rescue mission, and we’re so glad he’s finally getting his chance to shine. At around 2 years old, Taz is the perfect mix of fun and laid-back. He’s a sweet little guy who carries himself like a big dog, but deep down he just wants to be loved and included in all of life’s adventures. Whether it’s hanging out on the couch, going for a walk, or simply being your sidekick, Taz is happy just being part of the family. So far, Taz has shown us that he’s a pretty chill dude with a heart of gold. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and become your best friend before you even realize it. Now all this little guy needs is a foster or forever home where he can be spoiled the way he deserves. Could Taz be your new best friend? Fill out an application to foster or adopt and give this sweet boy the happy ending he’s been waiting for! August 16, 2026, 12:01 am

Story
Meet Winnie! 🩷 Winnie is the sweetest little girl with the cutest personality. She can be a little skittish when she first meets new people or experiences something new, but once she feels comfortable, she’s all in. She loves people, loves to snuggle in your lap, and when she gets really excited, her whole back end wags! She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Winnie loves playing fetch, enjoys tug, and has a blast running around with her foster siblings. She also has the cutest little prance when she walks that will make you smile every time. So far she’s doing great in her crate, we’re working on potty training, and she’s proving to be one smart little pup. She’s just starting to find her voice—usually when the other dogs think it’s time to bark and she chimes in. Winnie is going to make such a fun, loving addition to the lucky family who adopts her.  Winnie is a female Rat Terrier mix with an estimated date of birth of 3/7/26. She weighs 10 lbs.

Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2776457##
