Story
At 16 years young, Molleigh is proof that love—and a good nap—only get better with age. This sweet senior has been part of the New Rattitude family for years, and while her journey has had a few unexpected turns, her gentle spirit has never wavered. Molleigh first came to rescue in 2020 alongside her daughter, and both girls soon found loving homes. For the past five years, she enjoyed a cozy, sun-filled life with devoted adopters, plenty of window-watching opportunities, and all the snuggles she could ask for. Now, through no fault of her own, she's back with New Rattitude as her family navigates health challenges—and she's once again being cared for by the same foster home who loved her the first time around. This 19-lb lady is all about the simple joys. Think soft beds, slow strolls, and snacks—especially snacks (win her heart with a treat and you're in for life). She's a calm, easy companion who gets along well with cats and other mellow dogs. While she has experience living with a child, Molleigh would be happiest in a quiet home where she can truly relax. These days, stairs are a bit much for her, and she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground—so a single-level home or apartment is ideal. She now uses potty pads, which helps her stay comfortable and stress-free. Molleigh isn't asking for much—just a peaceful place to rest her head, a kind human (or two), and a little extra love in her golden years. In return, she'll offer quiet companionship, soft eyes full of gratitude, and the kind of steady presence only a senior dog can give. If you believe the best hearts come with a little gray around the muzzle, Molleigh might be your perfect match. For more photos of Molleigh, visit her online photo album at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/molleigh      If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info.May 16, 2026, 6:24 pm

Story
Chad is an agile 1 year old Rat Terrier mix with long legs and a goofy personality He does best with consistent people who provide structure and a sense of safety, which helps him continue to grow and feel secure. He is more dog-focused than people-focused and truly enjoys being around other dogs. He tends to do best with female dogs but can also be matched with the right male, as he is not dominant. While he isn’t overly clingy, he will seek out affection from his people at times. Chad is a quiet dog who rarely barks, both in and out of his crate. He has good house manners and only chews his own toys. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He naturally matches the energy of the dogs around him, which makes him easy to integrate into a home with other dogs. He enjoys car rides and long hikes with his people, but does best in calmer, more predictable environments. Chad is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. He is not a match for a home with cats or with children under 13. An adopter committed to respecting his parameters will help ensure his continued success. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 4/27/2026 Dog Name: Snoopy Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Rat Terrier/Chihuahua/Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 10 months Birthdate: 6/1/25 Approximate Weight: 17 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered  Description: Snoopy and his sweet siblings were desperately in need of a hero as their home was becoming overwhelming with so many animals. They risked creating more unwanted litters and our Texas rescue partners stepped in to save 10 pups between two litters.   Snoopy is a very sweet and loving pup! He may be a little shy at first, but with a little patience his sweet personality really shines! Snoopy prefers slow introductions and appreciates having time to warm up to new situations, but once he does, he’ll be your most loyal little shadow. He absolutely loves being with his people and will happily follow you around. Snoopy is a total cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling up whenever he gets the chance! He is settling in well to his foster home and is used to a life with kids and other dogs. He’s doing great with potty training and is also making good progress with crate training. He prefers having his crate nearby, where he can still feel close to his people.    Snoopy is a loving pup who is ready to find his forever home! Could that be yours? Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 16, 2026, 6:26 pm

Story
Wakanda came from a local hoarding situation. Due to this they do require a fenced yard as well as another dog in the home.  Wakanda is one of the pups rescued from the Wauconda hoarding case and is just beginning to discover how good life can be. Wakanda tends to warm up more quickly to women and is still learning to trust men. He’s working with a trainer to help build confidence and ease his protective streak. While he’s still figuring things out, his sweet side is shining through more each day. He loves spending time outside, so a securely fenced yard is a must for this curious explorer. He’d do best in a quiet home with older kids who understand that trust takes time. With patience, love, and continued training, Wakanda is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.    Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person. Please note: Starting Saturday, 5/24 Summer Adoption Event hours will be 11:00-3:00pm.    Follow us on Facebook for additional updates and sneak peeks of new adoptables!  https://www.facebook.com/reachrescue ##2460452##

Story
DO YOU HAVE THE LOVE, TIME AND EXPERIENCE TO CARE FOR A DIABETIC PUPPY? We are looking for a special family ready to welcome Princess into their home and give her a safe space to thrive. Princess is 8 months old, 25 pounds, and spayed. We don't know her breeds but we think she looks like a kelpie or rat terrier mix. Her owner surrendered her at 4 months old when she became severely ill. Princess has traveled between multiple rescues and states and she is now settled into her Wisconsin foster home. We are committed to learning all about canine type 1 diabetes and sharing that knowledge with you! Princess is a gem; she is a happy girl who enjoys leisurely neighborhood walks, playing with her dog friends and chewing on stuffies. She loves her people and older kids, but she needs proper introductions due to declining vision. She is best matched in a quieter routine-oriented home. She is great with calm dogs and ignores cats. She is house trained, but needs frequent potty breaks. Princess receives Insulin shots, eats a prescribed diet and requires daily monitoring of her blood glucose levels. Her new owners must be prepared to invest in her ongoing care. She is on a set schedule and must eat and get her insulin shot at the same time every morning and night. We are accepting applications to adopt Princess and we hope you'll consider opening your heart and home to this sweet girl. She deserves to be the center of her owner's universe. She is worth the investment and she'll pay you back by following you around the house, falling asleep with her head on your shoulder and snoring in your ear. She also never misses a chance to show you her pearly white teeth. With proper blood sugar management and diet, she can live a normal and happy life! Please consider applying or spreading the word!
