Story
Merida is a sweet and loving girl who loves to cuddle. She is crate trained, affectionate, and gentle with her humans. She does get playful, and given that she is a coonhoud, she needs exercise and enrichment. The best enrichment for her is smell-based, such as treat puzzles, snuffle mats, or simply hiding treats and toys in the back yard for her to find. She gets along with other big dogs. She has a prey drive, so small dogs and cats are not a good idea. She would love a home where she could be a family member and best friend. Merida hasn't had the easiest life so far but she knows there's a home for her out there somewhere. November 4, 2024, 3:23 pm

Story
We got Ruby Red as a baby. She is a good dog who loves to take walks and be lazy in the couch! She was raised around kids and cats and other dogs. Due to taking in a disabled family member, we had to put her outside during the day time and it's been hard for her to adjust. She thinks she a lap dog and doesn't realize her size. She has been staying outside in a dog pen during the day time and sleeps in a crate at night. She is very lovable and gets along with our other dog. She is a coonhound so she has that howl.

Story
**Home for the Holidays adoption special.  Half price adoption fee through December 31st Meet Kalina - Your Gentle, Goofy Soulmate in Waiting Age: 6 years, Breed: Bloodhound, Personality: Sweet, Shy, Loyal Kalina is a big, velvety-eared, sweetheart with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. At six years old, she’s past the puppy chaos, but still full of curiosity and that classic Bloodhound charm. Kalina has spent her life relying on the comfort of other dogs, so she must go to a home with at least one confident canine friend. Other dogs help her feel safe, show her the ropes, and bring out her most relaxed, happy self. This girl is shy when she first meets new people and may take a little extra time to trust. She’s not the kind of dog who will rush into your lap on day one. Kalina is looking for someone who understands that the best relationships are built slowly. She may not be the “perfect” pet for everyone, but she’s hoping to find the perfect person: someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her  bloom at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and a canine companion by her side, Kalina will reward you with quiet loyalty, tender moments, and the deep, steady love only a hound can give. If you believe every dog deserves to be seen for who they are and you have room in your home and heart for a shy soul ready to trust again, Kalina would love to meet you.
