Merida is a sweet and loving girl who loves to cuddle. She is crate trained, affectionate, and gentle with her humans. She does get playful, and given that she is a coonhoud, she needs exercise and enrichment. The best enrichment for her is smell-based, such as treat puzzles, snuffle mats, or simply hiding treats and toys in the back yard for her to find. She gets along with other big dogs. She has a prey drive, so small dogs and cats are not a good idea. She would love a home where she could be a family member and best friend. Meet William! William is a 6-7 month old (as of June 1,2025) bloodhound who somehow landed himself in a rural Georgia shelter. Once RMG found out about this guy, we didn't waste any time getting him to safety to make sure he ends up with a family that understands his breed and needs. William is an adorably goofy guy with as much love as he has ears and loose skin - and that's saying a lot! Already tipping the scale at 50 lbs, it's reasonable to expect him to potentially hit 90-100 lbs - although not having any background on his parentage we can't be certain. What we can be certain of, though, is that whoever adopts this guy is going to be very lucky! William is great with other dogs, cats, and absolutely loves every person he meets!
