Lovely truly lives up to her name: This kind, gentle girl just wants attention and love from everyone she meets! Lovey is just the right mix of chill and playful. When she’s relaxing, she is content to nap in her favorite chair or chew on some bones. When she’s feeling playful, she’ll jump into some happy zoomies and bring out her goofball side. A brave gal, Lovey has settled well into her foster’s busy city neighborhood, and isn’t scared of everyday noises anymore. She’s also grown more confident on her walks and happily leads the way, while still making sure to check in with you for comfort and treats—like when she gets overly excited about other dogs or the occasional squirrel. She’s also diligently learning how to do more polite and less jumpy greetings with new humans. Lovey is still sharpening her house training skills, though she mostly knows “go potty.” She’s comfortable spending time in her crate for up to 6 hours while her foster parents are at work, and she gets along well with their “somewhat grumpy” resident dog, sensing when her roomie needs some space. Honey came to us from a very rural and high kill shelter after the people that had her gave away or sold her puppies. When we heard about her story and what happened to her puppies, we jumped to save her. Honey is as sweet as her name suggests. She is a lovely redbone coonhound and all around terrific dog. She knows her name and responds nicely to it, she knows "sit" and "lay down", takes treats gently, good on a leash, wags her tail and is friendly to other dogs that come over to meet her. From Molly's foster mom: I found this scared, emaciated Redbone Coonhound wandering on our property. She has scarring from an embedded collar or chain. I just had to take her in. She is eating well and gaining a little weight back. Molly is very sweet and gets along well with smaller dogs, large dogs, and puppies. Cats are unknown. She rarely barks. She is very friendly with adults, but she has not been around children. She is skittish when loud trucks go by on our road. She is improving on her leash walking and potty training. Molly is affectionate and just wants to be part of a loving family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering.
