Herc (Hercules) is a wonderful spry Senior pup in our fold here at Freedom Rescue. He is a Big Boy, but so loving and gentle. He loves nothing more than to sit with you for some loving, take nice walks, go camping with you, or whatever you like to do. You would never guess this boys age, as he acts like a 3-5 year old pup! He loves people, has been around cats, chickens, livestock and other dogs. He was attacked by 2 dogs at one point, facilitating his move to a senior resident, who unfortunately could no longer keep him in her very small place. He is a true love bug, adjusts to new situations well, and truly is just a true love bug. Won't you open your home to this wonderful dog?

Amorette was born on Valentine's Day and the name means Little Love in French. She is a high energy fun loving 3 year old that we rescued when she was 14 weeks old. Due to a change in work circumstance (I used to be able to take her to work with me where there were other dogs to play with; my company did not survive Covid and I now have a regular office job) and the number of children in the home, we can't give her the attention she needs. She is an only pet right now but would do great with another dog.

Ridgina, a charming Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, is ready to steal your heart and become your newest family member! Rescued from a nearby shelter where she was found as an emaciated stray in a field, Ridgina's journey has been one of resilience and hope. At approximately 4 years old, Ridgina has already shown incredible strength and spirit. Thanks to a caring foster, she's on her way to being nourished back to health with a new vet recommended diet that is more consistent and tailored to her needs. While awaiting the results of her fecal test, her fosters report her poops look solid and healthy. Currently, Ridgina is also waiting for her rabies shot and spay until she has gained more weight. Her fosters are closely monitoring her progress and plan to reevaluate her condition in 2-3 weeks from her last appointment (2/29/24). Despite her challenging past, Ridgina is a loving soul who adores cuddles and playtime. She enjoys squeaky toys and loves spending time with her foster human and dog siblings. Her foster family is actively learning more about Ridgina and committed to working through any potential behaviors as they come up. He's sweet but prefers women rather than men and is protective of his human and his home. He listens well and is always eager to please. Barrett is low to medium energy, meaning he enjoys walks but also doesn't mind hanging around all day and being a couch potato. Barrett is good with other dogs upon proper introduction. He would do best in a home with no kids or older kids only. He LOVES the water. He loves walks. He loves car rides. He's completely house trained and crate trained.
