We’ve had Simba since he was a puppy right from the shelter. He is such a sweet and goofy guy but he is very high energy and unfortunately me and my husband’s schedules are about to ramp up in a way that would leave him in the crate for 10+ hours. So after a lot of consideration we decided it would be best for him to go to a home that would be able to give him the attention that he needs. He’s been to training with a trainer and is fully house trained. He is a super fun dog and all he wants is his belly scratched all day and treats. It’ll be super upsetting to see him go but it’s whats best for him. Hopefully he can find a good home!

Meet Duke Duke is a loving and resilient dog who joined our family about five years ago after being adopted from PetSmart through the High Desert Rescue. He was approximately five to six months old at the time and had just recovered from parvovirus. Despite a tough start in life, Duke has grown into an affectionate, loyal, and gentle companion. Duke has been an incredible part of our family and has provided comfort and emotional support, especially to our eldest daughter. He is well cared for, enjoys being around his people, and thrives on companionship and routine. Over time, Duke has developed anxiety related to loud noises such as fireworks, which are common in our current neighborhood. Because of this, we believe he would do best in a quieter environment where he can feel safe and relaxed.
