MEET BEAR! Bear is part of a bonded pair of Catahoulas recently rescued from a very full California shelter. Bear, 5-year-old, 58-pound male dark Catahoula, and Sadie, a 6-year-old, 40-pound tan/brown Catahoula, were adopted from the shelter in 2018. They were returned back to the shelter because of a death in the family and the owners had to move out of state to help with the grandkids. Bear & Sadie are good with both children and other dogs. They are housebroken, chipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on their vaccines. They are a sweet middle-aged pair who need a home together. Please email for an application.

Story
Handsome Romeo is a gem! He's super and handsome and very sweet. Romeo and his girlfriend were abandoned in the streets of Los Angeles. But he hasn't lost trust in humans. He loves to hang out by your side, whether you are watching TV or working on your car. Romeo is affectionate and adorable. He likes to go on walks but he's happy to just sunbathe in the yard. Story
Cheyenne is a 7 year old deaf Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. She came to us from a kill shelter in Alabama. She’s a beautiful girl who is a bit on the shy side, gentle, and she has lived with other dogs. Oh, and she’s a looker, too, with those bright blue eyes and merle coat. Cheyenne is a graduate of our Group Training Class, Basic Obedience. We wouldn't recommend that Cheyenne live with children, she prefers a quiet adult household. She would do best as an only dog. We're not sure about cats. To meet Cheyenne, please fill out an application for adoption:   http://www.deafdogrescueofamerica.org/adoption-application.html      Please note that we are unable to respond to inquiries, emails or phone calls. Our adoption process starts with completion/submission of an application for adoption. All applications are reviewed as quickly as we can, and our adoption process is not first come, first served. We select our adoptive homes according to what our dogs/puppies require. If you are selected as an appropriate match, you will be contacted to set an appointment to visit the Ranch and meet Cheyenne.  April 17, 2024, 12:04 am
