Meet our sweet, beautiful girl Arya! She is approximately 7 years old and 68 lbs of pure love! Arya is super sweet, very affectionate, mellow, smart, and funny. She is the goodest girl who will do anything for a yummy treat! She absolutely loves her belly rubs and can often be found on her back, legs stretched out, waiting for her pets! She needs a little bit of time to warm up to a new environment or person, but once she gets comfortable, she will shower you with so much affection every day, everywhere. Arya was rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter (LA county kill shelter) where she was put on the euthanasia list after 3 months at the shelter. She has been in a foster home since leaving the shelter in late December. Here’s how to describe this sweet pea: - Walks great on leash (loves going on walks) - Non-reactive to other dogs on walks - Easy to train as she’s super food motivated (food will make her do anything ?) - Smart and picks up new tricks/toys quickly - Crate and house trained - Loves to spend time with her human. I adopted a beautiful boy we renamed to Chestnut (was Lucky) from South LA. He was going to be euthanized last Saturday and I simply could not let that happen. He is the SWEETEST boy to ALL humans and is a perfect chestnut brown (hence the name :)) Chestnut is 3 years old and just a lovebug. He will go along with happily cuddling you to going for a walk, to jogging if you like. He barely barks, is fully potty trained, and knows commands like sit and down. The ONLY reason why I am fostering and not adopting now is because my cat is on the older side and doesn’t adjust well to other animals. My boyfriend and I were so hopeful as we fell in LOVE with chestnut, but unfortunately it could not work out. I also purchased so many things (toothbrush/toothpaste, treats galore, healthy foods, toys, beds, crate). I will gladly give them to his next deserving family :)

Beanie is house-trained, crate-trained, and quite content being left alone while her person is out and about. Multiple professional reintroduction attempts were made without success, and the stress of the situation began to wear on Beanie. As her anxiety grew, she had a warning nip with a child during a particularly tense moment, though she continued to live peacefully with children before and after. This moment, however, was a clear sign that Beanie needed a different environment—one where she could truly relax. Since transitioning to her current foster home, Beanie has blossomed! She’s shown herself to be incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager to bond with people. That said, Beanie is not compatible with other animals and will need to be the only pet in her new home. She is reactive to other dogs and will growl or lunge when she sees them, but she’s highly food-motivated and responds well to redirection.
