***PLEASE NOTE*** This is just a courtesy post: Freyja is NOT with Farfel’s Farm & Rescue. Please do not inquire or apply through Farfel’s — this is a courtesy post to help Freyja’s owner find her a new home. For all inquiries, please contact Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470. Her rehoming fee is $150 through her current owner. Freyja is a gorgeous 6-year-old, 50 lb Ridgeback / Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears. She’s incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and will gladly trade belly rubs for unconditional love. A world-class cuddler, Freyja loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch after a fun day of sniffing and exploring the outdoors. This smart, soulful girl adores people and warms up quickly with a gentle, patient approach. Once she trusts you (which doesn’t take long!), she’s all about love, loyalty, and snuggles. She’s house-trained, healthy, and happiest when she has room to run and a cozy spot to nap beside her human. Freyja’s Perfect Home: Freyja thrives in a calm, consistent environment and would do best as the only dog in the home. She can be nervous around other dogs and needs an experienced, confident owner who can help her continue to thrive using positive reinforcement. She would do well in an adult home or one with older children (12+). She’s done well with cats she’s lived with, though she may show prey drive with unfamiliar ones. Freyja is used to sleeping near her person — either in an open crate or near the bed — and finds comfort in being close to those she trusts. She’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart, and with the right home, she’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Why She’s Being Rehomed: This decision comes with a heavy heart. Freyja is deeply loved, and if circumstances hadn’t changed, she would never be leaving her current home. After moving in with a partner and their dogs, the multi-dog environment has proven too stressful for her. She deserves a peaceful, loving forever home where she can be the center of attention. If you’re a kind, experienced dog lover looking for a sweet, sensitive girl to share your life with, Freyja may be your perfect match. She has so much love to give — she just needs the right person to give it to. Please share to help Freyja find her forever home! She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccinations. Rehoming Fee: $150 (to ensure a committed adopter) Location: Boulder, CO Contact: Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470 Disclaimer: The dog you are interested in is a courtesy post. Farfel's Farm & Rescue often helps dogs outside our organization to find their forever homes, and these are called "courtesy posts.” By courtesy posting pets from owners and other rescues, we offer our website as a resource to help their pet gain extra exposure. The pet’s bio comes directly from the owner or rescue, and we expect them to provide accurate information, to the best of their knowledge. Farfel's Farm & Rescue in most cases has not met or evaluated these dogs, so no information about a courtesy post dog is guaranteed. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury or damages to any person or property caused by any courtesy post animals. Courtesy post pets are the sole responsibility of the owner and the adopter. In addition, Farfel's Farm & Rescue cannot take these pets in if the courtesy post adoption does not work out.

Story
COMING SOON - Meet Zucchini Yes, his name is Zucchini and yes, he is every bit as delightful as his name suggests. This stunning 1 year old neutered Rhodesian Ridgeback mix weighs 63 pounds and comes fully loaded with A+++ personality, A+++ manners, and A+++ good boy energy. Honestly, if dogs came with report cards, Zucchini would be hanging his on the refrigerator. Let's address the elephant in the room... those eyes. Those absolutely breathtaking icy blue eyes look like they belong to a husky who accidentally wandered into the wrong body and decided to stay for the snacks. Zucchini is the total package. He loves people, loves dogs, and approaches life with the enthusiasm of someone who just found out every day includes breakfast. Big dogs? Friends. Small dogs? Friends. Humans? Also friends. This social butterfly is happy to make buddies wherever he goes. Sharing toys? No problem. Sharing treats? Also no problem. Zucchini seems to have missed the memo that dogs are supposed to argue over the good stuff because he is perfectly happy letting everyone join the party. This handsome guy walks beautifully on leash, does great in his kennel, seems to be potty trained, and already knows some basic obedience. He's eager to please, food motivated, and has the kind of wonderful behavior that makes shelter staff accidentally spend way too much time hanging out in his kennel just to visit him. There is a reason he has become a staff favorite. Need a hiking buddy? Zucchini is in.Need a couch companion? Zucchini is in.Need someone to hype you up when you open a bag of chips? Zucchini is definitely in. His smile is contagious, his personality is charming, and he has a special talent for improving moods simply by existing nearby. Zucchini would love a home with other dogs to play with, a family to adore, and a place where he can finally unpack his bags and stay for good. If you've been searching for a loyal sidekick with movie-star looks, excellent manners, and a name that guarantees compliments at the vet's office, your search may officially be over. Come meet Zucchini and prepare to ask yourself one important question: "How did a dog this perfect end up in a shelter?" ##2783307##

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! *Tilly will NOT come to events unless she has a reservation. Outside meet and greets are an option if she is reserved and the family is interested.* What we know: Single female transferred from Española Humane Shelter in NM at approximately 2 years old. Mama to puppies 351-360 (2026) transferred one month prior. Mama was having behavioral issues preventing shelter staff from providing care to her and her puppies, so puppies were transferred so they would be able to receive care. Shelter recommended euthanasia for mom but partners insisted on working with her after her puppies were separated and her behavior did a full 180. After confirming she was friendly with both dogs and humans, she was transferred to CPR. Came with the name “Mama Tilda”, foster calls her “Tilly”. From the foster: My bio is coming soon! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Spots is a fun dog! He is playful and loves water- great qualities for a busy summer! He lived successfully with another dog and children in his previous home and would likely enjoy a dog companion in his new residence. You may want to plan for his introduction so he feels secure in your absence and because he was comforted in a crate in his recent home, you may want to provide one for him, too! Story
Jasmine may be technically a “senior,” but she clearly didn’t get the memo. After being hit by a car and recovering from surgeries on both back legs, she’s proven she’s as resilient as she is lovable. She’s sweet, social, and full of personality—Jasmine has plenty to say and isn’t shy about sharing it. She still has a playful, youthful spirit and prefers to live life on her own terms… which, frankly, she’s earned.Jasmine is looking for a home that will adore her big personality and let her be exactly who she is. In return, you’ll get a loyal, entertaining, and incredibly special companion. One bonus is that Jasmine has been living in a foster home so they can tell you everything there is to know about transitioning this girl into your home. So many times, we wonder, `What will it be like to bring this dog into my home?` With Jasmine, we have someone who already knows this and can share their tips, tricks, ups and downs with you before deciding if she is the right dog for you.

He loves interacting with people and enjoys being part of family life. Whether he's playing, exploring, or simply hanging out with his favorite humans, Kenny brings a cheerful and loving energy wherever he goes. He is social, confident, and enjoys both playtime and affection. Kenny gets along very well with other dogs and is also 100% social with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. They are eager to learn, highly trainable, and respond exceptionally well to positive reinforcement and consistent guidance. Black Mouth Cur and Shepherd mixes are naturally athletic and benefit from regular physical exercise and mental enrichment. Daily walks, interactive play, training sessions, and opportunities to explore help keep them happy, confident, and well-balanced. This breed mix would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and outdoor activities Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and family interaction A lifelong commitment to their emotional and physical well-being With patience, leadership, and plenty of love, a Black Mouth Cur / Shepherd Mix grows into an incredibly loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion who is eager to share every adventure with their forever family.
