Story
Meet Zucchini!  If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen, Zucchini might just be your perfect match! Zucchini is a 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix weighing about 60 pounds. He’s playful, energetic, and always ready for an adventure, whether that’s a long walk, a game in the yard, or curling up for cuddle time after a fun day. He’s a fast learner who loves treats, making training both rewarding and fun. Zucchini gets along well with other dogs, is great with kids, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s crate trained and is making great progress with house training. While we’re not sure how he does with cats, he’s shown so many wonderful qualities in foster care. Like many rescue dogs, Zucchini is still building confidence. He can be fearful of some men and experiences some separation anxiety, so he’ll thrive with a patient, experienced owner who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels safe, his affectionate, goofy, and loving personality shines through. If you’re willing to give Zucchini the patience and love he deserves, you’ll gain an incredibly loyal companion who will reward you with endless cuddles, happy tail wags, and unconditional love. We know his perfect family is out there, and we can’t wait for them to meet this special boy.  Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375  August 12, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
***PLEASE NOTE*** This is just a courtesy post: Freyja is NOT with Farfel’s Farm & Rescue. Please do not inquire or apply through Farfel’s — this is a courtesy post to help Freyja’s owner find her a new home. For all inquiries, please contact Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470. Her rehoming fee is $150 through her current owner. Freyja is a gorgeous 6-year-old, 50 lb Ridgeback / Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears. She’s incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and will gladly trade belly rubs for unconditional love. A world-class cuddler, Freyja loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch after a fun day of sniffing and exploring the outdoors. This smart, soulful girl adores people and warms up quickly with a gentle, patient approach. Once she trusts you (which doesn’t take long!), she’s all about love, loyalty, and snuggles. She’s house-trained, healthy, and happiest when she has room to run and a cozy spot to nap beside her human. Freyja’s Perfect Home: Freyja thrives in a calm, consistent environment and would do best as the only dog in the home. She can be nervous around other dogs and needs an experienced, confident owner who can help her continue to thrive using positive reinforcement. She would do well in an adult home or one with older children (12+). She’s done well with cats she’s lived with, though she may show prey drive with unfamiliar ones. Freyja is used to sleeping near her person — either in an open crate or near the bed — and finds comfort in being close to those she trusts. She’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart, and with the right home, she’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Why She’s Being Rehomed: This decision comes with a heavy heart. Freyja is deeply loved, and if circumstances hadn’t changed, she would never be leaving her current home. After moving in with a partner and their dogs, the multi-dog environment has proven too stressful for her. She deserves a peaceful, loving forever home where she can be the center of attention. If you’re a kind, experienced dog lover looking for a sweet, sensitive girl to share your life with, Freyja may be your perfect match. She has so much love to give — she just needs the right person to give it to. Please share to help Freyja find her forever home! She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccinations. Rehoming Fee: $150 (to ensure a committed adopter) Location: Boulder, CO Contact: Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470 Disclaimer: The dog you are interested in is a courtesy post. Farfel's Farm & Rescue often helps dogs outside our organization to find their forever homes, and these are called "courtesy posts.” By courtesy posting pets from owners and other rescues, we offer our website as a resource to help their pet gain extra exposure. The pet’s bio comes directly from the owner or rescue, and we expect them to provide accurate information, to the best of their knowledge. Farfel's Farm & Rescue in most cases has not met or evaluated these dogs, so no information about a courtesy post dog is guaranteed. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury or damages to any person or property caused by any courtesy post animals. Courtesy post pets are the sole responsibility of the owner and the adopter. In addition, Farfel's Farm & Rescue cannot take these pets in if the courtesy post adoption does not work out.

Ok! And here is a bio for her if you still need one: My Bologna has a first name, it's C-U-T-I-E!! This pup is the whole package. Adorable? ✔️ Sweet? ✔️ Smart? ✔️ Bologna is ready for a family to call her own! Her fosters also affectionately called her "Betty Boop" because she loves nose boops and kisses. She loves other dogs, adults, children ... anyone who wants to play can be her friend! Bologna is a fast learner and housebroken. She will let you know when she wants attention or is ready to go outside. If you're looking for a dog who is playful and adventurous, this is the one for you!

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 72 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Percy #2 | 6-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix | A sweet, shy puppy ready to blossom Percy is a 6-month-old, 35-pound Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle heart and all the potential in the world. Like many puppies, he's still figuring out how this whole "being a family dog" thing works. Everything is new to him, and while he can be a little shy and nervous at first, each day he becomes a little more confident as he learns that people can be kind and home is a safe place. Percy loves other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. He's respectful of dogs that aren't interested in playing, does a great job picking up on social cues, and has even done well with his foster's cat. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and exploring the park on walks, though he's still working through some leash reactivity around unfamiliar dogs, people, and wheeled objects. With patience and positive reinforcement, his confidence continues to grow. As a young puppy, Percy is still starting from scratch with many of the basics. He's not yet house trained, is learning that the crate is a safe place, and may whine for a bit when left alone before settling down. He'll need a family that's ready to invest time in puppy training and understands that progress comes with consistency, encouragement, and patience. In return, you'll be rewarded with a sweet, affectionate companion who loves to rest his head on you, show off his belly for rubs, and greet you with an adorable little prance. Percy's ideal home is one with patient adopters who understand that nervous dogs need time to settle in and build trust. A confident, playful resident dog would be a wonderful role model, and he could also do well with a dog-savvy cat. While he hasn't met children yet, a calmer home that allows him to adjust at his own pace will help him become the confident, happy dog he's meant to be. If you're looking for a puppy whose personality will shine a little brighter every day, Percy is ready to start that journey with you.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $450. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 72 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
