Haaland got a very hands-on start to life. This adorable 4-month-old puppy was raised as a bottle baby, so being loved and cared for by people is all he's ever known. His parents are unknown, but Haaland may be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He has a gorgeous, shiny chocolate coat with a distinctive darker ridge running down his back. Haaland is one of those puppies who always seems to be happy. He's constantly smiling, loves other dogs, and grew up surrounded by cats and even tiny kittens. He's a sweet, social, happy boy who is ready to finish growing up with a family of his own. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, social puppy who loves other animals and has been raised around both dogs and cats from the very beginning. She’s incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and will gladly trade belly rubs for unconditional love. A world-class cuddler, Freyja loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch after a fun day of sniffing and exploring the outdoors. This smart, soulful girl adores people and warms up quickly with a gentle, patient approach. Once she trusts you (which doesn’t take long!), she’s all about love, loyalty, and snuggles. She’s house-trained, healthy, and happiest when she has room to run and a cozy spot to nap beside her human. Freyja’s Perfect Home: Freyja thrives in a calm, consistent environment and would do best as the only dog in the home. Story
Camila, DNA results pending, is such a sweet, affectionate girl with so much love to give. More than anything, she wants to be close to her people. She’s a little Velcro pup who will happily follow you around, curl up next to you on the couch, and soak up every belly rub, ear scratch, and snuggle she can get. Camila is also excited about life and loves to have fun! She LOVES playing with all of her foster siblings and looks forward to her daily walks. She’s incredibly inquisitive and enjoys exploring new places and investigating all the interesting sights, sounds, and smells around her. She may approach something unfamiliar with a little uncertainty at first, but it usually doesn’t take long before her curiosity takes over. Having other dogs around has been wonderful for Camila. She enjoys their companionship, loves having playmates, and benefits from watching them show her the ropes. But as much as she loves her dog friends, her favorite thing is still knowing her person is nearby. Camila is smart, eager to please, and very treat motivated, which makes training fun! She already knows sit and is working on down and stay. Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her and she wants to greet you with a jump, so her foster family is helping her learn that four paws on the floor is the better way to say hello. She’s also doing wonderfully with her home routine. Camila is potty trained, uses the dog door, and sleeps peacefully in her kennel all night until about 6 a.m. After a day of playing, walking, and exploring, she’s more than happy to settle onto the couch for some serious cuddle time. Camila is not reactive, but she may bark when she first sees someone she doesn’t know. It’s simply her way of saying, “Give me a minute to figure out who you are.” Once she has a chance to check you out and realizes everything is okay, she quickly comes in for affection. Every day, Camila is learning more, gaining confidence, and discovering that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. She has such a gentle, loving spirit and is looking for a family who will continue helping her experience all the good things life has to offer. Meet Spice: Confident • Adventurous • Affectionate • Cuddly pup!  At 4 months old, Spice is a beautiful, confident, curious puppy with a big personality and an adventurous spirit. She is smart, eager to learn, affectionate, and already showing signs that she will grow into a very loyal companion. Spice is expected to be a big girl, likely around 50–60 pounds when fully grown. Spice loves being outside, exploring the backyard, learning to play fetch, finding the perfect stick to chew on, or playing in the garden hose or sprinkler. She LOVES the water; attacking the water from the hose and the sprinklers, jumping in and out of the pool, doesn't care about the rain, or sticking her head in shower. She is also a great little walking companion and doesn’t pull much on leash. She has an excellent sniffer and loves taking her time investigating all the interesting sights and smells around her. Spice is a confident girl who isn’t easily bothered by everyday noises and activity, including the vacuum, lawn mower, leaf blower, hair dryer, or kids riding by on bikes and electric scooters. She does good other dogs, will do best with slow introductions, and has benefited from having canine foster siblings who help teach her appropriate play and puppy manners. Because Spice can be enthusiastic and physical when she plays, canine companions her size or larger will be the best match. She will be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home with plenty of attention, exercise, toys, and enrichment, and love being the spoiled one. Spice is pretty much potty trained and uses the doggie door when she needs to go. She is not a fan of a kennel; she loves being close to her person and sleeps through the night at your feet.  Like any growing puppy, Spice is still learning her manners. She is working on jumping up, mouthiness, boundaries, sit, down, and place. She is teething and does best when she has plenty of appropriate chew toys available. Continued training, consistency, and positive reinforcement will be important as she grows into a large adult dog. Until she has more training under her belt, Spice will be most successful in a home without small children. And did we mention how gorgeous she is? Spice has an incredibly soft red, brown, and copper coat that is just as striking as her personality. She is funny, adventurous, loving, loyal, and full of potential—and she is looking for a family ready to give her the structure, activity, training, and affection she needs to become an amazing adult dog. ##2831844##
