After being found with a severe front leg injury that required amputation, Axle has proven that losing a limb hasn’t slowed him down one bit — especially when it comes to love, cuddles, and companionship. Axle is a total cuddle bug at heart. While he’ll occasionally head outside to join his foster siblings for some playful romps, he truly prefers being right by his foster mom’s side, following her from room to room and soaking up every moment together. Recently, Axle has really started to blossom — discovering toys, learning how to play, and even engaging in a fun game of tug-of-war with another dog. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding. This sweet boy does not do well in confined spaces like crates and will try his hardest to escape them. The good news? Axle is an absolute angel when left uncrated. He behaves beautifully in the home and usually curls up on his foster mom’s bed to nap until she returns.
