He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. Gypsy has been the best dog i could have asked for being a single mom. She is patient, loving, funny, and sweet. My son was raised around her for the past five years, and she has been so patient with him learning boundaries, as well as acting as a mother to my cat I took in after the mother abandoned her litter. I love her to pieces but unfortunately I can no longer afford to keep her healthy as she now requires a prescription food for a reaccuring uti issues. I also have had to start working more often with the cost of living and I am just not home enough for her and she deserves so much more. I really just want her to find a home with people who will love her and have time for her where I cant, and who can spoil her like she deserves.

She was quickly placed into a loving foster home where she could safely deliver and raise her puppies. For six weeks, Lily devoted herself to being a wonderful mama, and during that time, her foster parents completely fell in love with her. When it was time for Lily to return to the shelter, they knew they couldn’t say goodbye. Her foster home became her forever home. 🏡💕 Lily spent her time there being loved, spoiled, and cherished just as she deserved. Sadly, following the recent passing of her owner, Lily has found herself back at the shelter and once again searching for a family to call her own. 💔 Lily knows what it feels like to be truly loved, and now we want nothing more than to find her another home where she can be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the rest of her life. She is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who simply wants to be close to her person. Lily walks wonderfully on a leash, enjoys being by your side, and there is one very important thing you should know about her… she LOVES bacon! 🥓🐶 Lily has already been someone’s beloved family member, and we know she has so much love left to give. She likes dog beds and car rides. She is crate trained, potty trained and walks on a leash.  She will require a securely fenced yard with her new family home.  Foster home has no cats.  She was dumped in country and being taken care of by an ailing 85 year old.  L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.
