He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. Juana has a bad past, she was dumped twice in a shelter before I rescued her. It took time for her to trust humans again and need to be patient with her. She is very smart, very active and very loving. She loves the outdoors but she's inside most of the time. Loves toys and chewing bones, she will carry it around everywhere. She's is good in cars and will let you know when she needs to go outside. The perfect forever home would be somewhere where she's allowed to be outside and with someone who will have patience to get to know her and bond with her, once she bonds with you she's very protective and smart and will let you know if anything if off, again very smart. Loves being silly and a little crazy sometimes. She would be the perfect farm dog for a good family!
