Ledyba (named after the Pokémon; often shorted to 'Ledy') is my 9YO’s favorite of the puppies because she’s a fantastic cuddler and would curl up with him while he reads all day. She can be very timid to start, but once she’s settled in she’s right there with you, ready to curl up while you work or rest. She’s great on a leash, but sometimes new sounds can trigger a freeze response. Patience has been key in helping her move forward, and her confidence grows every day. She often “checks-in” on a walk, happy to be going on an adventure with you, and my younger kids can handle her without issue. Ledy can be a bit goofy. She doesn’t jump on people, but her zoomies do include loping around like a baby moose. Even so, she’s very aware of her body and I’ve had zero issue with her running into anyone or knocking anyone over. This is Kupa. A 7-8 year old Catahoula / red heeler rescue fur baby that has been apart of our family since we rescued him at a few months old estimate. When we rescued Kupa, who was originally being called “cookie dough” because of his beautiful brindle coat that looks like chocolate chip cookie dough 😊 He was such a cute puppy , I called “cute puppy” which eventually morphed into Kupapuppy.. and led to Kupa for short. He liked it and it ! Kupa’s original owner is my absent son. Due to change in family dynamics that include medical, physical and economic declines, I am no longer able to keep Kupa. Sadly, close family and friends are no able to offer Kupa a new home. So , I am teaching out to the community of dog lovers , asking a loving home for Kupa I welcome all inquiries if more information is wanted He is loved and will be missed but deserves a more capable and stable home.
