He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Lola was rescued from the streets of San Antonio. She is the sweetest girl to all humans, kids included. She loves to lick! She is not a fan of other dogs/cats! She’s 7 years old, and turns 8 in November. We recently had our first kid, and with me being a teacher, we’ve not given her the time and love she deserves. She has a small ligament injury on her back leg. Last time she got her vaccines was 11 months ago. She deserves love and care, and without paying attention, we had been neglecting her because of our busy lives and schedules.
