She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee is $245 and she comes with all her vet records. Diesel is a gentle giant. He was the only pup in his litter. He is an 8 year old, pure bred, Rhodesian Ridgeback. Purchased from a licensed breeder. He had been placed with someone before us. We acquired him at about a year old. He is nice and friendly but is fearful of small children, but he’s perfect for a family with older children or someone looking for a loyal companion. He is low-key. He is a selective barker. If he is barking there is a stranger or critter around or he wants to come in. He’s pretty mellow. He is comfortable indoors or out. He generally slept outside. He grew up with a Doberman and has spent some time around other dogs without a problem. He mostly stayed at home. We are relocating and downsizing and cannot accommodate a large dog. We just want to find him a good home.

Heath is such a heartthrob. He’s handsome, fun, athletic, and generous with his kisses. Meet him and you won’t be able to help falling in love! Even other dog`s can`t resist his charms and he`s gotten along well with them in shelter playgroups. Heath is usually the one to kick off all the playing! Heath loves a game of fetch, and he’s really good about bringing the ball back to you like he should. He has pretty good manners, but he’ll get excited waiting for you to throw the ball and his feet will start doing some tippy taps. He’s not all play though! He keeps it balanced by having a calm side. He’ll happily sit on command for a treat and enjoys having you pet him. Heath is an 8YO Catahoula mix who came into the shelter as a stray with some other dogs on 11/3/23.
