Franny is a gentle soul who’s come a long way since arriving. Once very timid and unsure, she's steadily gained confidence and learned to enjoy the world around her. She's easy to leash up and walks beautifully without pulling or freezing. She even takes treats gently from your hand, a sweet sign of growing trust. Franny is not too interested in toys and doesn’t seem to know any tricks just yet, but she’s shown a playful side — trotting around the play yard with happy little zoomies and pretending to be chased, only to dart away with a sparkle in her eye. She enjoys pets and will calmly stay by your side as long as you're offering affection. Franny gets along well with other dogs and lived peacefully with canine companions in a previous foster home. This quiet, sensitive girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow in confidence.

Jazz is an almost 7-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog with beautiful piebald coloring. She comes from a very active household with multiple children and dogs. Jazz is extremely energetic and thrives on exercise—she especially loves going for runs and staying active. She generally plays well with other dogs, but she has shown some aggression toward our senior dog. For this reason, we feel she would do best as the only dog in the home. Jazz does have some fear of adult males; however, with patience and time, she warms up and can form strong, loyal bonds. Jazz would be a great match for an active family, ideally with one or two children, who can give her plenty of attention, structure, and exercise.
