Franny is a gentle soul who’s come a long way since arriving. Once very timid and unsure, she's steadily gained confidence and learned to enjoy the world around her. She's easy to leash up and walks beautifully without pulling or freezing. She even takes treats gently from your hand, a sweet sign of growing trust. Franny is not too interested in toys and doesn’t seem to know any tricks just yet, but she’s shown a playful side — trotting around the play yard with happy little zoomies and pretending to be chased, only to dart away with a sparkle in her eye. She enjoys pets and will calmly stay by your side as long as you're offering affection. Franny gets along well with other dogs and lived peacefully with canine companions in a previous foster home. This quiet, sensitive girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow in confidence.

Meet Vanessa! At just over a year old, she's is full of life, love, and just the right amount of puppy energy. She’s easy to leash up and walks well on a leash, making her a great companion for strolls and adventures. Playtime is her favorite time - especially if squeaky toys are involved! Vanessa will happily chase after a toy, bring it back near you, and then entertain herself while keeping you close by. She’s also a cuddle bug at heart and will roll right over for belly rubs and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Vanessa loves treats (she takes them gently!) and while she doesn’t know any tricks yet, she’s eager to learn - she just might get a little bouncy if you make her wait too long. With her mix of playfulness, sweetness, and eagerness to please, she’s still very much a puppy at heart and ready to blossom with the love of a forever family.

Meet Rusty—a loyal, loving senior dog with a heart full of memories. At around 13 years old, he’s been with our family through everything—from cross-country moves to marriage to welcoming a child. Adopted at 6 months old, he’s deeply bonded and incredibly devoted. Rusty is easygoing and enjoys the simple things: eating, sleeping, and greeting you with excitement when you come home. He still has bursts of puppy energy and loves to explore. He also takes his role as “protector” seriously—especially when it comes to the mailman. As he’s gotten older, Rusty prefers a calm, predictable home. With a young child who is very grabby, we’ve realized he would be happiest in a quieter environment. Rusty would thrive with someone looking for a gentle, devoted companion to share his golden years.

Melody is a 6 year old lovable Rhodesian Ridgeback mix highly energetic dog that would be a great companion for someone that has the space and time to make sure that she gets plenty of activity. I love my dog dearly but I had an unexpected pregnancy at 45 when I was told I could not have kids. As a single mom I am finding it difficult giving her the time she deserves and not quite comfortable having her around my toddler. She has never been aggressive with kids but she was adopted so I don’t know her past history before I got her. She gets a daily walk by a dog walker. Melody’s health is great except she has Addisons disease. Her body does not make enough cortisol so she requires a steroid shot every month that costs about $125 a month. I give the shot myself at home and can teach you! I take her in to the vet every six months to check it out. I will supply 4 months of the medication if you adopt her. I thank you for considering Melody ❤
