Abby was found along with her sister abandoned in an apartment complex in SW Houston. She is 2 yrs old and weighs around 60lbs when full grown. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee is $245 and she comes with all her vet records. It breaks my heart to say this, but we're looking to rehome our dog, Bourbon. He's been with our family since he was a puppy and is now 9 years old. Bourbon is a very loving and social dog who gets along great with people, other dogs, and has always been wonderful with our two kids. We've consistently kept up with his annual wellness exams and vaccinations, and he's been on monthly flea and tick prevention his whole life. He's never had any health issues and has always been a happy, healthy dog. Unfortunately, due to a recent job relocation and our current living situation, we can no longer provide him with the home he deserves. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but at this point, we have no other options. Bourbon would make a loyal, affectionate addition to any family, and we're hoping to find him a home where he'll be loved and well cared for, just as he's always been with us. P.S. Bourbon was neutered on 7/11/25.

Melody is a 6 year old lovable Rhodesian Ridgeback mix highly energetic dog that would be a great companion for someone that has the space and time to make sure that she gets plenty of activity. I love my dog dearly but I had an unexpected pregnancy at 45 when I was told I could not have kids. As a single mom I am finding it difficult giving her the time she deserves and not quite comfortable having her around my 11 month old yet. She has never been aggressive with kids but she does look like she has pit bull and she was adopted so I don’t know her past history before I got her. She gets a daily walk by a dog walker. Melody’s health is great except she has Addisons disease. Her body does not make enough cortisol so she requires a steroid shot every month that costs about $125 a month. I give the shot myself at home and can teach you! I take her in to the vet every six months to check it out. I will supply 4 months of the medication if you adopt her.
