Remi is a 5 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback/GSP mix who’s extremely loving, very calm, doesn’t get up in your face and pretty much just lays around unless you ask HER to play. House trained and sleeps in a kennel. Very well behaved and not a barker unless feels danger. Gets very irritated with small children getting in her face, hasn’t hurt anyone but would feel better if she had a home with no small children. Older children are no issue for her. Has been around other dogs with no issues as well

Kona, is a very sweet and playful dog. She is super smart and picks up on whatever you teach her really quickly, especially if you have food! She loves to go on walks and is both housebroken and kennel trained. She is currently about 8 months old. We adopted her from the Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue of Central Texas. We are trying to find her a good home because our daughter is too scared of her even though she is super gentle and never had any issues. Our daughter has a seizure disorder and we want to keep stress to a minimum. She still will play with her but after a little while she gets overwhelmed. Kona has really been the easiest dog we have ever had and would be a great addition to any family!

Leon is a very strong boy with a lot of enthusiasm and gusto. He weighs 52 pounds and is excitable and jumpy. He is friendly with everyone he sees and wants to get to know them. He is affectionate and loves being petted. He was found as a stray and hopes you can offer him a home. We don't know yet if he is house trained but he does seem to know he is supposed to do his business outside. Please be patient if he needs a refresher course. He wants to lead the way while on a leash and does it with determination and eagerness. Try to keep up. He is very active and loves toys and running. He knows the sit command. We don't yet how he will behave around dogs or children. He is curious about and interested in his shelter neighbors and doesn't bark at them but his high-energy playfulness may be too much for calmer dogs. If you have a dog, they need to meet before you adopt him. Since he can be mouthy when he is overstimulated, he'll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. Please offer this lovable, handsome guy the home and family he needs.
