Melody is a 6 year old lovable Rhodesian Ridgeback mix highly energetic dog that would be a great companion for someone that has the space and time to make sure that she gets plenty of activity. I love my dog dearly but I had an unexpected pregnancy at 45 when I was told I could not have kids. As a single mom I am finding it difficult giving her the time she deserves and not quite comfortable having her around my toddler. She has never been aggressive with kids but she was adopted so I don’t know her past history before I got her. She gets a daily walk by a dog walker. Melody’s health is great except she has Addisons disease. Her body does not make enough cortisol so she requires a steroid shot every month that costs about $125 a month. I give the shot myself at home and can teach you! I take her in to the vet every six months to check it out. I will supply 4 months of the medication if you adopt her.
