FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Miso! Miso is a 1.5-year-old, 79 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This big, goofy boy is quite the handsome guy! Miso is sweet, spunky, silly, and full of personality. Miso does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with his canine friends, although he prefers slower introductions so everyone has a chance to get comfortable. He’s a big boy who can be strong and enthusiastic, so he’ll need a confident handler who is comfortable managing a large, athletic dog and is willing to continue working with him on his manners. Miso is smart and treat motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He’ll thrive with someone who enjoys working with their dog and can provide him with structure, consistency, and plenty of mental enrichment. This boy is built for adventure! Miso would love an active family who enjoys hiking, long walks, exploring, and getting outside. He’ll need daily exercise and opportunities to put all that young-dog energy to good use. A standalone home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving him plenty of room to stretch those long legs and enjoy some outdoor time. Miso is a big, lovable goofball who is ready to find someone who can appreciate his size, strength, intelligence, and wonderfully sweet personality. Lulu is 3 yrs old, born 1/31/2023. She is a happy dog that loves to go to the dog park and make friends. She is great with Children & Small dogs. Was originally my sisters’ dog, but my sister moved to New Zealand & couldn’t afford to take Lulu. Lulu adjusted to moving in with me almost immediately. She is house trained & knows basic obedience. She is still learning leash manners but she is food motivated & easy-going. She does have a seasonal rash on her belly but the vet gives her a shot that clears it right up (allergies). I’ve been working to get her weight down but have not had much luck, (the vet recommended that she be brought down to 49lbs but she is currently 58lbs).She is cuddly. She loves to sit on the couch with you & nap. She is in need of a forever home. I also have a kennel, dog bed & hairbrush that will go with her to help get her settled in. She is nervous stepping onto tile or slippery hard wood but she will get used to it after a few times of being really cautious.

Story
Cooper is a 9 year old Catahoula leopard mix that we originally adopted from Texas. We now have 2 young kids and have realized Cooper would do best in a home without children. Cooper is an extremely well mannered and behaved dog (especially for a breed of this energy level). He is crate trained, well mannered on a leash, and is trained with a buzz collar for off leash recall. He is a great guard dog and will give single woof but otherwise isn’t a big barker. Cooper loves to snuggle his owners and trusted adult humans. He loves to nap in the sun and go to bed early but will still play like a puppy or go on long hikes. He has a strong prey drive, and will happily keep pests out of his yard. Despite a prey drive Cooper grew up with a cat in the home and respected her space. Cooper has two triggers: 1) resource guarding and 2) personal space, so should be in a home without children. Het gets along with other dogs, mostly female and smaller dogs, but will escalate when provoked.

He is a high-energy guy who would thrive with active adults (kids 12+) who enjoy hikes, adventures, and keeping life moving. True to his Hawkeye spirit, Clint is agile, strong, and loves to play, especially with confident, social, easygoing dog friends after proper introductions. Clint is deaf and has a visual impairment, so patience and consistency are key. The good news? This smart pup already knows basic commands using sign language and is highly food-motivated, making continued training both fun and rewarding. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and more than happy to roll over and show you his belly as a sign of true friendship. Clint is housetrained, crate trained, and has been around cats without showing a strong prey drive. He is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and will stick by your side like a true Avenger. If you're looking for an adventurous, loyal companion who just needs the right teammate to help him aim true, Clint Barton is ready to join your squad. He can be vocal because he can't hear himself and it can be hard to give him signs from a distance due to that as well. Overall he is a very sweet and playful boy.  Clint is vaccinated, neutered and chipped.
