Hello, this is Fela Marie. She's a 6 year old Blackmouth Cur/ Black Lab mix. She was my Moms before coming to me. My Mom has had strokes and it's become to difficult for her to care for Fela. She loves walks and loves cuddling even more. According to her belly scratches are a required task for anyone she cuddles up with as well. Shes got a personality that you'll instantly fall in love with. She's very shy to new people but warms up quickly if there's treats involved! We have a 1 year old and are unable to take care of her and our son while working 50 hours weeks. We know she deserves someone who can give her all the love in the world so that lead us to this site. Thank you!

We adopted Jessie from the Kitsap Humane Society when she was 8 months old, now 2 years old. She has been a wonderful dog for us. She doesn't like to be around other dogs. We believe that Jessie needs to be an only dog with her people. She is also food possessive. She loves to go on walks and to play fetch. She is house trained and will go to the door when she needs to go to the bathroom. She does have a lot of energy, so a good-sized yard is mandatory. She is good with older kids but because of her size she shouldn't be around a child under the age of 10. She knows the sit command. We love her but just don't have the energy to keep up with her like we thought we could when we got her. She was bred to be a protector, herder, and hunter. She is several dogs in one lovable, sweet, cuddly dog.

Abby was found along with her sister abandoned in an apartment complex in SW Houston. She is 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs around 60lbs. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee includes her transport to your area and she is being fostered in Houston TX.
