Story
Meet Goober!Goober came to PACC originally as a bottle puppy without a mother, last year. He stayed in foster care until he was old enough for adoptions and then found a home! This sweet boy was unfortunately returned to PACC for being too puppy with his previous owners. He is a big boy and can get excited/jumpy and needs an adopter willing to work with that. His previous owners loved him and state `He is good with kids, would probably be better with kids older than 5. He gets excited but would never harm anyone. He is great with other dogs! We have another smaller older dog and he played well with that dog. He is a little timid and anxious but when you show him love all that goes away.He has allergies to chicken that causes rashes. He is good on a leash but does pull.He is a good dog and deserves a good home. `If interested in Goober, please email his foster parent fostermer19@yahoo.com

Story
Zeus is a handsome, friendly senior gentleman who came to the shelter after he and his friend Zia were abandoned. Zeus is the more confident of the two, and Zia takes comfort from her friend. Here’s what one volunteer said:“These sweet seniors are a little bit shy but definitely warm up with kind and gentle interaction. Both are mellow, quiet, easy-going and well-behaved and are easy to leash up and walk. Zeus does not act his age and is playful, friendly, and a major show off! He is so proud of knowing how to sit and give paw, especially when treats are involved. He’s also a bit of a goof ball. Zia is a little nervous but tolerant- a gentle, tender-hearted gal who appreciates kindness. Slow and easy works for her and she will come to you for affection when she feels safe. Zeus is the confident one and Zia looks to him for guidance.”In addition to getting along well with Zia, Zeus has been tolerant, easygoing, and a bit playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. The shelter is truly no place for a senior dog, and Zeus really deserves a loving home with a family who would never leave him behind. Please ask to meet him today!!

Story
Zeus is a super handsome middle- aged guy who is not only a shelter favorite but also a day trip superstar who has done great in foster! Here’s what we learned during his time in a home:- He is housebroken and well- behaved when left home alone- He is calm, easygoing, and friendly and he LOVES his trusted people- He loves treats and is eager to learn - He’s polite on leash- He loves to cuddle- He has done well with small and large dogs - He loves the pool!- He’s done well with kids (may do best with older kiddos)“Zeus is so handsome. He is a mellow and friendly dog. He deserves to be a part of someone`s life who is willing to love this big boy to no end.”“Zeus has a calm disposition- he is a gentle giant who just wants to be with his people. Ear massages are his favorite. He’s smart, takes treats gently, and is eager to learn tricks when you have a handful of goodies. He is housebroken and quiet. I truly can`t say anything bad about this big, handsome boy. He would make a great addition to anyone`s life. I hope that someone will add as much to Zeus`s life as he will theirs.”“Zeus is a delightful dog and has a heart as big as his mellow but playful spirit. Zeus loves zoomies and will run around the yard, tongue out and smiley. After he’s done acting like a puppy, he will come inside ready to cuddle. He genuinely loves nothing more than snuggling up. He brings good laughs!”“Zeus is well behaved. He does great on walks. He is calm and easygoing and is housebroken. He slept all night. He takes treats gently. He was good with small kids. Zeus is a great dog and a gentle giant. He will work for food!”“Zeus is good with small kids and likes all people. Smart dog, loves ear rubs, takes treats gently. He is housebroken, learned to sit for his treats, and walked great on the leash. Swam a little. Amazing dog!”“Zeus is the complete package- tall, dark, handsome, and very polite. He knows sit and takes treats gently.”Zeus has shared his kennel with a variety of other PACC pups and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet him today!

Story
In Transformers, Optimus Prime is the supreme robot commander of the Autobots in their fight against the Decepticons. Our Optimus is no robot, but he’s more than ready to transform from shelter pup to family member! Optimus is a gentle, sensitive boy who needs a little bit of time to build confidence and trust. Once he does, he’s devoted for life- a gentle, calm dog who wants nothing more than to sit by your side and enjoy gentle affection. And treats- he loves those too and takes them politely and gently from your hand.Optimus shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Optimus would love to find a calm home where he can decompress from the stressful shelter and a family who will go at his pace while he settles in. Please ask about Optimus today!
