Story
People who know Toby well say he's a big baby. His kennel is chock-full of stuffy toys, and he'll hold a few in his mouth at a time when he's feeling goofy! And, as a big baby, Toby is sensitive and nervous around new people. But he has made huge strides during his time with us, and would be so appreciative of anybody who decides to give him a second chance!

Meet Duncan — the Sweetest Gentleman AroundIf you’re looking for a kind, gentle soul to add warmth to your home, Duncan might just be your perfect match. This sweet boy LOVES cuddles and will happily flop at your feet for pets and affection. He’s a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family — wherever you are, that’s where he wants to be.Duncan has a moderate activity level and enjoys leisurely walks, smiling the whole way through. He does have a bit of arthritis, so most of his day is spent snoozing peacefully on his dog bed. A calm, quieter home where he can relax would be ideal for him. He’s very well behaved, soft-furred, and incredibly endearing. Duncan makes a variety of cute little “talking” noises (he rarely barks!) and will gently place a paw on you when he’s asking for love. He’s great with other dogs and enjoys their company, though he prefers to keep his treats to himself. This sweet gentleman’s needs are simple: food, love, walks, playtime, and a cozy spot to nap. Give him those, and he’ll give you loyalty and friendship in return. Duncan looks at you with kind eyes that say he just wants to be good, be loved, and be your friend. If you’re ready for a gentle, affectionate companion to brighten your days, Duncan is waiting to meet you.

Story
`Zoey—formerly known as Princess—is a gentle, curious, and affectionate girl who has blossomed beautifully in her foster home. Though she didn’t respond to her original name, she immediately connected with “Zoey,” and it suits her sweet personality perfectly. She is fully housetrained, wonderfully respectful of the home, and has never chewed or destroyed anything. Zoey is crate trained, too; with a small treat she happily settles in, sleeps through the night without a peep, and patiently waits to be let out in the morning. She’s also a fast learner who’s picking up leash manners and training cues like “sit,” and she responds well to her name along with simple corrections such as “no” or “stop.”Zoey has been living with an Australian Shepherd who sometimes tries to herd her—she doesn’t love when he gets in her face and will politely correct him if needed—but she walks beautifully beside him and shares attention without issue. She has no experience with cats or children, but her calm, gentle nature and people-oriented personality suggest she will bond closely with her family. Outdoors, Zoey’s playful side shines: she loves to run, zoom around the yard, chase toys that squeak or crinkle, and eagerly ask for playtime. Inside, she shifts into an easygoing, relaxed companion who settles quickly and moves softly around the home. What truly makes Zoey special is her heart. She is learning to trust again, and once she feels safe, she becomes a total cuddlebug—leaning her whole body into you, soaking up hours of pets, curling up at your feet, and even falling asleep on your chest. She adores butt rubs, gives the sweetest hugs, and gently takes treats with perfect manners. Zoey is loyal, people-focused, and wants nothing more than love and protection. In just a week, she has become her foster’s little shadow, watching every move with adoring eyes. Whoever welcomes Zoey into their life will gain an incredibly devoted best friend—gentle, playful, and full of heart.`

Story
Kate is the total package, sweet, smart, and ready for her next big adventure! This young, energetic girl is equal parts playful companion and devoted snuggle buddy. Found as a stray, Kate quickly made friends with her finder and has continued to win hearts with her gentle nature, eagerness to please, and adorable personality. Now thriving in foster, Kate is housetrained, learning crate and working on lots of other fun tricks! She already knows “sit.” She’s working on “stay,” “place,” “down,” “wait,” and “shake,” and responds beautifully to kind guidance and consistency. She’s incredibly smart and loves learning, especially when treats or toys are involved.Kate lives with another dog and is clearly a social butterfly with other pups. She follows her foster sibling everywhere, learning from him and seeking out his company for play, exploration, and naps. In the shelter, she was friendly with several kennelmates and enjoyed playgroups with other dogs. She loves being outside, splashing in a kiddie pool, going on walks, or just sniffing around the yard. But don’t let her energy fool you—she’s also a top-tier napper who wants nothing more than to sleep near (or touching) her person. She’s a velcro dog who checks in often and thrives on affection. Her sweet, expressive eyes say it all: “I love you—please love me back.”Kate is blossoming in her foster home, gaining confidence, overcoming fears, and showing how much trust she’s willing to give when treated kindly. Her ideal home is active but calm, with a patient adopter who will continue her training and celebrate her progress. A confident dog sibling would be a huge plus. Whether you’re headed out for an adventure or settling in for a Netflix marathon, Kate will be right there with you—sweet eyes, wagging tail, and all.

Story
Say hello to Kazo, a handsome Doberman with a docked tail, a few battle-worn ears, and a heart full of love. Neutered, microchipped, crate, and leash trained, Kazo is the kind of pup who’s ready to walk right into your life — and your heart. Though he can be selective with male dogs, Kazo is respectful and responsive to correction. He’s a quiet, loving companion who’s great with cats and children, making him a gentle and loyal addition to any family. Kazo is also a very good listener — the kind who always seems to understand when you need a moment of comfort. He prefers the cozy life indoors, where he can curl up and feel safe. While he sleeps and eats in his crate like a champ, he’s happiest just being close to his people. Kazo is looking for a warm, loving home to call his own. Could it be yours? Story
Meet Laguna! Get ready to dive in with Laguna! This sweet girl absolutely adores the water — whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool or chasing sprinklers, she's in her element! Her silliness truly shines when she's playing, guaranteeing endless giggles and happy moments. After all that fun, Laguna transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy. With her wonderfully soft and gentle personality, she's always ready to curl up for some quality cuddle time. At just over 20 lbs, she's the perfect lap size. Born the end of May to her boxer mom, and we are unsure of who dad is. With her gorgeous eyes and soft fur, we suspect dad may have had some husky in him. Yet, Laguna and her littermates are on the smaller size of those two breeds.  Laguna has done wonderfully with her potty training. Her food motivation has already lead to mastering sit and kennel manners and she's got a great start on leash training. She is up-to-date on her vaccines , is microchipped , and spayed.  Laguna gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is friendly with people. ‍‍ Her reaction to cats is unknown. She is looking for a home that can provide the guidance and training she needs to grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult. Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours. Click HERE for the adoption application.   ##2460774##

Story
The Doberman Sisters: Asha & Zuri These two brave Doberman sisters (Born June 2025) arrived in poor condition, having been surrendered skinny and malnourished with rough, scabby ears. In just a few weeks, Asha and Zuri have truly blossomed! Thanks to a careful, vet-approved re-feeding program, their strength has fully returned, and they are now healthy enough to be scheduled for their spay surgeries. They are current on vaccines and microchipped, and ready for their next chapter! Both girls will need guidance and consistency from their new families on basic life skills like potty training, kennel work, and leash manners. Though, they are highly food motivated! With patience, practice, and the devoted love they’ve always deserved, we are confident Asha and Zuri will grow into beautiful, well-adjusted ladies. Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If either fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.
