He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. Meet Jaxx — a smart, loyal dog looking for an experienced home. I got Jaxx during the COVID-19 pandemic after losing my German Shepherd, so he missed early socialization. Even so, he’s incredibly bright and knows Sit, Down, Stand, Heel, and loves games like hide & seek and treat puzzles. He gets along well with my daughter’s tiny 2-year-old Morkie and is calm indoors except for normal excitement at the door. Outside, Jaxx can be reactive and needs someone patient who can guide him. I’m rehoming him because I’m leaving the country, and he deserves the right person who can help him thrive. Jaxx learns fast, bonds deeply, and will be a wonderful companion for someone experienced.
