Story
Wes is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing 70 pounds. He is very affectionate and friendly with people, but he is still learning to get along with other dogs. So he would need a home as the only pet. He should be great with kids. His adoption donation is $250, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is currently in a foster home, but he has to find his Forever Home very soon. We are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Please come to meet this sweet boy! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p94/Wes.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html

Story
Weiler is such a sweet and calm dog. He loves people and is happiest laid flat out on his back and snoring. He's not much of a guard dog and is really quite lazy. He is best suited for a house that has no other animals as he does not get along with them. But, he is a good and happy pup otherwise.

Story
Taroth is a 7 year old Rottweiler. He is great with people, other dogs and even kitties. He can be a little stressed by very small children, so he would do best with older children or adult only home. He is housebroken and a very well behaved adult boy. His brother Bua (8 year old Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix) also came into rescue with him. We would love for them to find a home together, but they are also pretty independent and would be okay to be adopted separately. Bua is also dog, cat and kid friendly and housebroken and a very good boy as well. Both dogs are neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a new forever home. Adoption fee is $150 - BOGO if you open your home to both.  ##2781547##

Story
Zoe is around 1 to 1½ years old. She was recently spayed and is an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl with people and SOME other dogs. Zoe loves attention and bonds closely with her people.Zoe is a high-energy dog and will need an active home that can provide regular exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. She would thrive with someone who understands working breeds and can keep her engaged through walks, play, training, and daily activity.Because of ongoing conflict with our Mastiff, who was once her ride or die🥺, Zoe would probably do best in an environment as the only dog, even though she is not the cause of the conflict. Our dogs got along wonderfully when they first got together, but something shifted and they no longer get along.Zoe is currently being boarded and improving on crate training. She does have some separation anxiety, but she is making progress and responds well to structure!Fenced in yard preferred...

Story
Meet Selene, a beautiful boxer mix with a heart as big as her smile. This sweet girl is the kind of companion who makes every day brighter just by being by your side. Selene absolutely loves going for walks—whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or an outdoor adventure, she’s happiest when she’s exploring the world with her person. Selene is a social butterfly who hasn’t met a stranger she doesn’t adore. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making her a perfect addition to a multi-pet home. Her gentle, loving nature shines through in everything she does, especially when it’s time to cuddle—she’ll happily curl up with you and soak in all the affection. Loyal to her core, Selene will be your little shadow, following you from room to room just to be near you. She also enjoys a fun game of fetch… though she believes the real joy is in the chase, not so much the return! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and devoted companion who will love you endlessly, Selene is ready to be your perfect match. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $300 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org. ##2685347##

Story
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW THOROUGHLY ____________________ Meet Honey, a 7-year-old Boxer who is every bit as sweet as her name! ❤️ Honey came to us heartworm positive and with a heart condition that is common in her breed. She will need daily medication for her heart condition for the rest of her life, along with regular follow-up appointments with her cardiologist. Despite her medical needs, Honey is a wonderfully sweet lady. She is calm, quiet, and happiest when she is simply spending time with her people. She gets along well with other friendly, calm dogs and enjoys taking short walks and soaking up the fresh air. 🌸 Honey is mostly potty trained, but like any dog entering a new home, she will need some patience and understanding while she adjusts to her new surroundings. We are looking for a very special forever home for Honey—one that will make sure her heart condition is properly cared for and monitored so she can continue to thrive. Because of her condition, her cardiologist recommends a quieter home without a lot of hustle and bustle and without small children. It’s not because Honey doesn’t do well with children; rather, young children tend to be higher energy than what is recommended for Honey. Honey has so much love to give and deserves a peaceful home where she can enjoy the rest of her life surrounded by people who will cherish her. ❤️ Could you be the forever family this sweet girl has been waiting for? 🐾 NOTE: we CANNOT email information about fees. View our GENERAL fees here (you will need to copy/paste into your browser): https://theanimalleague.org/adoption-fees/ All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, receive a registered microchip, and are up-to-date on their age-appropriate shots, vaccines, and preventative care. We also test for heartworm when they are old enough. APPLICATION: https://theanimalleague.org/adoption-application/ Please visit https://theanimalleague.org/faqs/ for the answers to our most commonly asked questions such as, "what are your fees," "when can I visit," and "what is your adoption process." IMPORTANT: THE BEST WAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS PET IS TO FILL OUT OUR NO OBLIGATION, NO FEE ADOPTION APPLICATION. WE CAN NOT ALWAYS ANSWER GENERAL EMAIL INQUIRIES AND CALLS. We are volunteer based and taking care of injured, neglected pets is our priority, if you have not heard back from us within a week of applying, this pet had a best match application ahead of yours. We will keep your application on file for 6 months in case you see another pet of interest. If you do see another pet of interest, email us (when you fill out an adoption application you will receive an email contact) to tell us you would like your application applied to that pet. Thank you for your understanding! We always welcome new volunteers!
