Story
This is Bertha. She is 3 years old. She has hip displasia and arthritis in her knees. Right now she isn’t in any kind of pain but her quality of life is expected to worsen with her condition. To create longevity in her health, it’s best to get her on a nutritional diet supporting joint & bone health. But when I say this doesn’t affect her in the slightest I mean it. She likes to play just like any other dog. So, it would be up to you to limit her physical activities & duration because she will push herself beyond what her body can do. This girl is full of love and does very well with other dogs. She is so affectionate and sweet! She is completely house/crate trained (I will happily give you her orthopedic dog bed, crate and toys!) and she even knows a few tricks! There’s something special about Bertha. Her personality is one of a kind you’ll find yourself laughing at the little things she does. Please apply to meet her & see for yourself !

🐾 Meet Maggie 🐾 Breed: Australian Shepherd Mix Age: ~9–12 years Weight: 39 lbs Maggie is a gentle, easygoing sweetheart who wins everyone over with her calm nature and soft eyes. She’s friendly with dogs of all sizes, well-mannered in the home, and loves nothing more than being near her people. At 39 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion: easy to walk, easy to love, and always ready for a cozy nap. Maggie came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her, and she’s been a total gem in foster care. She may be a senior girl, but she’s in wonderful shape and still enjoys short walks, snacks, and snuggles. ✅ Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped ✅ Heartworm negative 📍 Location: Tarpon Springs, FL 💰 Adoption Fee: $200 💌 Apply to adopt at love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
Adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED thanks an anonymous donor!! Hi I'm Elsa! I was found abandoned in a field with my 12 babies (yes, 12!). I took such good care of them that we all survived until we thankfully were found and made it to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. I am a very sweet, friendly, happy girl with all of the humans at the rescue. It seems I'm a bit dog selective so a meet and greet with any current fur babies is important to make sure we get a proper introduction. I've watched all of my babies find homes and have been waiting patiently for my forever family to find me...I hope they come and take me home soon!I'm estimated at around three and a half years old and last weighed in at 65 lbs. We can't be sure of my mix, but my rescue sees Rottweiler and Greater Swiss Mountain Dog in me. I seem to be housebroken, but it is hard to tell for sure in a kennel environment. I walk very well on a leash and know how to sit and take treats gently. My adoption fee has been fully sponsored, and I am up to date on my vetting, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm test (negative), and spay. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under "Adopt". If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Carter is a sweet, lovable, and fun dog. He is very calm if you give him time to play and run around. He is now 6 years old, but he has a young soul and needs someone who will be able to give him time, love, and lots of cuddles. He does pull on a leash, so some training would be required to get rid of that behavior. Carter has a strong prey drive so he CANNOT be in a home with small animals or infants, but small dogs and kids who can crawl/walk are fine. I do not know if this behavior can be trained out of him. He tends to struggle with separation anxiety so chew toys are ideal, I can provide some. Ultimately, he is a very good and lovable dog, our schedules are just to busy to give him the life he deserves.
