Hi! I`m Daisa. I am about 7 years old and 83lbs. I am a staff and volunteer favorite here at the shelter. I am such a sweet girl who walks nicely on leash. I love to play with toys and am very ball driven. I love treats and will take them very gently! I came to the shelter as an owner surrender. I did not do well with female dogs in my previous home but did do well with the males. It is unknown how I would do with kids or cats. The shelter does offer the cuddle before you commit program. Come meet me! **Please apply on our website at www.indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. We have had a stray with us since 9/30/23. We had her checked for a chip and posted everywhere to get her home and no one ever claimed her. So we've been calling her Alphie. She is about 1 year old from what the vets told us. She was just spayed 11/28/23. And has a 1 year rabies shot. My husband is not a dog person so unfortunately she won't be able to stay permanently with us. She is friendly towards other women, and children, she is still jumpy when she meets new people. She is still very young so she's still learning some manners. She knows shake, sit, walks well on a leash. Waits when had is up before she goes to her food bowl. She loves to play catch and loves her Frisbee. She will need an experienced adoptor or dog owner because she needs patience when it comes to her meeting new dogs and new people. She is a a SWEETHEART.

Meet Titan! Titan is an handsome young dog about a year old. His breed mix is a guess, but he is 100% adorable! His former owner was going through some big changes in life and, sadly, had to surrender to a very overcrowded shelter. Titan is about as wiggly as they come, which is why we called him "wiggly pup" initially! He is good with other dogs and loves everyone he meets! Titan can be a handful, so needs an adopter who is willing to work with him to burn off excess energy and help him to learn some manners. He has no regard for personal space!
