Story
When asked to describe Teddy, our volunteers responded "he's perfect, no notes".....and while we might be a little biased, we can say Teddy is pretty darn great. Teddy is a lover, a very sweet boy! He seems starved for attention but isn’t quite sure what to do with it when he gets it. You can tell he is young and eager to please, but occasionally he gets over excited. Teddy is very treat motivated but sometimes loses focus and needs direction. He'll need an adopter who understands his size and strength - even when he's full of energy! Teddy has just started to understand toys and how much fun they can be! He was very proud of himself when he discovered the rope toy....spending the next few minutes prancing around showing everyone what he had found. He has seen dogs through the fence and reacts loudly - lots of barking. We have not introduced him to dogs otherwise. Teddy does have itchy skin and will likely have lifelong allergy issues. Due to his size and his very big bark, we will not adopt Teddy to a family with an apartment. He's so easy to love and we know the perfect family is out there waiting! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Story
Hi! My name is Kona and I`m the sweetest girl you`ll ever meet! I look big and scary, but I`m actually just a princess who loves anyone who can me scratches and cuddles. Training can be a little tricky since I`m not food motivated, but I am super eager to please!I can be a lot for smaller dogs, cats to handle because I don`t understand how big I am. I would do well in a home with other large dogs, but what I really want is a human (or more) who is willing to give me the attention and enrichment that I need! I do best with older kids who know how to respect my space and can`t get knocked over by me :)

Story
Meet Frankie & Toby – The Dynamic Duo! (Or as we like to call them, 180 pounds of pure love and snuggles.) These two 8-month-old Rottweiler brothers are potty trained, dog and cat friendly, and great with older kids (they haven’t met tiny humans yet, so that’s a mystery still!). They’re sweet, smart, and have hearts as big as their paws. They’ve been inseparable since puppyhood and would love to stay together—but they’re also open to solo adventures if the fit is right. Think of them like a buddy movie: better as a pair, but still stars on their own. We’re heartbroken to rehome them, but due to our son’s serious illness and the weight of medical bills, we’re downsizing to an apartment and can’t give them the space they deserve. These boys need room to romp and someone to love them the way we do. If you’re ready for the best cuddle buddies with built-in security systems and soulful eyes, message me. Serious, loving homes only.

Bane`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Passed his cat test!Kids - Yes!Meet Bane, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his 117-pound frame! At 9 years old, Bane is a well-mannered, easygoing guy who has been living in a foster home with children and doing great. He’s housebroken and can be left loose in the home without any issues—no destruction, no anxiety, just a chill companion who enjoys his space.Bane enjoys his daily walks, gets along well with other dogs, and prefers a more relaxed crowd. He knows a handful of commands, including sit, lay down, come here, and stop, and he’s eager to please. When Bane is feeling playful, he likes to turn fetch into a game of keep-away! While his previous family was hoping for a more protective dog, Bane is more of a `love everyone` kind of guy. If you`re looking for a big, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company but leave the guard dog duties to someone else, Bane might just be your perfect match!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
