Meet Sadie Breed: Rottweiler Mix Age: 5 years Weight: 85 lbs.Sadie is a big-hearted girl with a big body to match! At 85 pounds, she`s a strong, beautiful Rottweiler mix who’s still learning the ropes of leash walking—so she’ll need someone patient and kind to help her master her manners.Sadie came to the shelter as a stray, and while she’s still adjusting to shelter life, she’s already showing us what a smart and loving dog she can be. She knows how to sit, and she’s picking up new things every day. With the right guidance, she’ll thrive in a home that offers consistency, structure, and love. She was recently spayed and is still letting her hormones settle, so she’s not quite sure how she feels about other dogs yet. Our staff is continuing to give her slow introductions to see if she might enjoy a doggy friend in the future.Sadie is searching for a forever home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, Sadie might just be your perfect match.

Story
Hi, I'm Sora!   I'm a shy 5-yr-old, 73# Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, who is looking for my happily ever after! I'm a shorter stout girl and I really need to shed some weight for my frame size! I do great on a leash and really enjoy going for walks!   I originally came to FCAC years ago as a stray. I was adopted to a wonderful family and lived there happily for over 3 years. Unfortunately, due to a change in life circumstances, I was surrendered back to FCAC. I'm now hoping for my final landing place. I'm shy and unsure towards strangers at first, but once I know I can trust you, I'm as sweet as pie.   Because it's been so long since I've been here, FCAC staff plan to test me with other dogs and children soon, and they will update once they do! I did live with a cat, so I know I like them!   Spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adopt fee is $100.    If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! If it's a match, you can take home on the same day. Any other dogs in the home must come in for a meet & greet! We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    Closed Sunday/Thursday    11-4 Saturday/Monday   11-5 Tuesday/Friday    11-6 Wednesday ##1291313##

Story
Rico is 15 months old. He was my moms dog but had to be rehomed to us due to health issues. Unfortunately, he was not socialized properly (big mistake, I know) and will need an experienced adopter as he does have some behavioral issues. He is not good with strangers, has no experience with other animals or kids in household. He tends to "lash out" when doing something he isnt supposed to. Example, if he is biting a shoe, we will take it away and say "no biting", sometimes he will listen, other times he will snap his mouth as a warning sign but he has never actually bitten. He is a gentle soul, very attached n loves cuddles, he just needs the right person to put in time n effort into him, which we unfortunately do not have. He is house-trained, is somewhat good on a leash, just tends to lunge when he sees another person. If you are someone who will put in the time and effort to properly train this dog and gain his trust, he'll be a perfect loving companion for you. He just needs time.

Story
Here is a bio for your dog, Jorah: Meet Jorah, an energetic and playful pup who brings a lot of joy to those around him. This lovable dog is a big fan of outdoor adventures and is always up for a game of frisbee or fetch. Jorah's love for the water makes him the perfect companion for swimming and playing in pools. He is well-trained in obedience and is also crate trained, making him a well-mannered and easy-going companion. Despite his excellent demeanor, Jorah's need for attention and outdoor play has led to the decision to find him a new home. Although he is loved and cared for, a change in home dynamics has made it challenging to provide Jorah with the attention and playtime he craves. Therefore, Jorah is looking for a new family who can give him the love and activity he deserves. He has been our loyal companion for 7 years and we are looking for the right family who can love and appreciate him
