Hello, I am looking for a home for my almost 2 year old rottweiler he is a really good dog, but unfortunately he just doesn't seem to get a long with my 5 year old he nips at her one of them broke the skin. All of them are related to having an item and her taking it or walking close by. He does not have those issues with me I can take things from him tell him to drop it and he listens and I can take the item and he doesn't have any reaction. My older son also has no issues. Besides these few incidents my 5 year old him can co exist like nothing happened, but I am unable to know what items he will react to its been objects and food that it just doesn't feel safe to have him in our home anymore. Even the smallest nip can cause her big harm. He knows how to sit and give paw. I dont want to see anything bad happen to him because he is a good dog just needs a different environment. On leash he does need a little work with pulling a face harness has worked though and stopped it.

She’s sweet, smart, and ready to find a home with someone who knows rotties and has experience with the breed. Willow does well with other dogs and has been in foster honing up on some some basic rules and crate training. She’s eager to learn and will thrive with structure, training, and a confident owner. She was acquired as a puppy by someone who didn't really have time for her so she spent most of her puppy life being boarded. With some more training and time this girl will be a loving, protective, and amazing dog. Willow is spayed, and medically up to date. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Meet Ruby!Ruby is the kind of girl that you're going to have to work for. You're going to have to put in the time and effort for her affections. You're going to have to prove yourself because Ruby knows exactly what she deserves which is nothing less than absolutely everything. We love a girl who knows her own worth! Ruby is a four year old Doberman mix weighing just over 50lbs. She's a high energy girl that's going to need A LOT of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. She loves toys, especially balls and plushies, and is pretty good on a leash except for when she gets excited and then all bets are off. Strangers are tough for her and multiple meets to get her comfortable with you is going to be a MUST but once Ruby likes you? No one will ever love you better. Ruby does well with other dogs and would do best with a confident, outgoing pup that can match her energy levels but also knows how to disengage when she's had enough. She's very nonconfrontational and has shown that she'll choose to walk away over any other kind of reaction. She would do well with dog-friendly cats, but she's been pretty neutral in the face of a cat hissing/swatting at her. An adult only home with minimal strangers coming/going would be best to keep her stress levels to a minimum. Basically, Ruby is a gorgeous, strikingly smart, incredibly loyal girl that will completely devote herself to the people she loves. Meet Basil!Sweet baby Basil is just a pup at only ten months old. She's a sensitive gal which is understandable because coming to the shelter from a home can be a big, confusing transition and it can be overwhelming. Basil is a boxer/American bulldog mix and weighs about 60lbs.While it takes a minute or two to win her over, she immediately becomes a big goofy blockhead with all of the zoomies! She's genuinely just a big baby that needs all of the coddling, all of the reassurance, and all of the snuggles. She's a bouncy bean that is a big hammy ham for attention. She loves her walkies and loves rope/tug toys but can and will turn the rope toy into a dangerous weapon when she starts swinging it around like a medieval mace. She'll take you at the knees/ankles if you're not careful. Anyone remember the Skip-It and how it would smash your ankle bones? Yeah, like that.Basil is fantastic with other dogs and lights up like a Christmas tree when she sees them, especially big goofy male dogs. (She seems to have a type.) She's all play bows and zoomies trying to get them to chase her. She's afraid of cats because big dogs afraid of cats seems to be trending here lately. We are looking for an adult-only home (or teenagers and adults).
