Story
Hera came to us through a friend who was helping a semi homeless man that was a friend of hers and took Hera overnight to give her a bath and groom her unfortunately in the morning she received a call that her friend had suddenly passed away . She kept Hera for a month but her small apartment was not a good fit with her 2 daughters and a dog already so we brought her to meet our male they hit it off and she has been with us ever since . We love her very much and it’s is hard to give up but unfortunately we don’t have a choice as we need to find a place to live . .

Story
🐾 A New Beginning for Astro 🐾 Astro has always been my faithful companion—through long walks, cozy nights on the couch, and endless games of fetch in the backyard. She’s more than just a pet; he is family. Recently, life has taken an unexpected turn, and I’m facing a move that means I can no longer give Astro the stable, loving home he deserves. It’s a heart-wrenching decision, but I know that finding her a new family is the best way to ensure his happiness. Astro is a sweet, energetic, and loyal dog. He loves being around people, is great with kids, and enjoys playing outdoors. He deserves a home where he can continue to get the love and attention he’s always had—a place with a yard to explore and a family to call his own. As I prepare for this transition, my deepest hope is to find someone who will love him just as much as I do. I know he’ll bring endless joy and laughter to his new fam

Story
Max is a great boy who just wants to be with people. This handsome boy was left tied to a bench on a hot day with no water in site! A kind soul noticed that he was still there after a few hours and approached him, gave him water and put him in his truck. He is gentle when taking treats from you and he absolutely loves going for long car rides. If you are looking for an affectionate couch potatoe then he is the boy for you. Story
Rudy is a joyful, affectionate gal with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. She’s the kind of pup who brings sunshine wherever she goes! Rudy is one of three devoted pups heartbreakingly left behind when their family moved away. True to a dog’s loyal nature, they stayed together, faithfully waiting for someone who never returned. Thankfully, a rescue discovered them just in time and she was then fostered by a young man teaching himself dog training. He gave Rudy a second chance at the love she deserves.Rudy gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves to play—especially with her beloved toys, which she happily shares during playtime. This smart cookie has been working hard on her training and already knows her basic commands. She’s leash trained, house trained, and crate trained—truly the full package! Rudy thrives in the company of other furry friends, so we’re looking for a home where she’ll have a doggy sibling (or two!) to keep her company. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and well-mannered companion who’s ready to be part of your forever family, Rudy is your girl—you’ll fall in love instantly!Name: RudyBreed: Rottweiler MixSex: FemaleAge: 1 year 4 months (estimated as of 6/18/25)Weight: 54.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: yes over 5 is bestGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
