Story
Cannoli was left with me unexpectedly. She is very sweet and social, but it is clear she was never taught manners and needs a lot of training. I cannot keep her as I have a reactive dog who does not like her. I think she would do well with another dog in the house or as the only pet. It is hard to tell how she is with cats as mine avoid her, but I think she would be ok. We are working on house training, but a new adopter would have to continue this work. She is a power chewer and will shred anything she can, so a potential adopter needs to have a clutter-free home and understand she cannot have blankets in her kennel. She is also a counter surfer and not afraid to try to take food out of your mouth, which we are working on. Due to her size and unruly nature, she needs an owner who is experienced with large powerhouse dogs/breeds.

SEEKING A RESPONSIBLE AND EXPERIENCED ROTTWEILER OWNER FOR THIS CHARMING YOUNG MAN Meet Carlo, an exceptionally handsome nearly two-year-old Rottweiler. Carlo is a smart and eager learner, highly motivated by food and responsive to positive reinforcement training. He is looking for someone who will continue to develop his training and refine what he has already learned. While he occasionally needs reminders not to pull on the leash, he generally walks nicely. Currently, he resides with a female Rottweiler of similar size and gets along well with her. He has interacted with other female dogs of his size, but not all appreciated his playful nature. Interestingly, he is remarkably tolerant of smaller female dogs. Carlo enjoys playing fetch, excels at catching balls or treats, and is making great progress with sitting patiently for his food until given the command to eat. Due to his robust size and enthusiastic greetings, Carlo's best suited for homes with teens or older. He's working on his manners! Meet Queen, a 4-month-old Rottweiler mix who acts like any admirable queen would  — by staying cool, calm and collected in the chaos.  Queen is completely unbothered by the things that send other dogs into a frenzy. The dogs at her foster home are barking at the mailman, and Queen could care less! At a recent adoption event, the dogs next to Queen set off the alarm bells when another dog walked by … meanwhile Queen remained perfectly composed and quiet. Nothing fazes her!  While being easygoing might be her most impressive quality, Queen is also sweet, smart and completely endearing. She’s very easy to love!  According to a breed test done on Queen’s brother, Queen is half Rottweiler and the other half is made up of 16 different breeds! The second highest percentage is Labrador retriever, but she also has small percentages of some fluffy dogs like golden retriever and husky. Queen is extremely soft!  Queen is currently perfecting potty training and crate training in her foster home. She sleeps quietly in her crate throughout the night. Queen is food motivated and eager to please her human. Brutus's Story Brutus There’s no pre-heating needed to get this guy to warm up to you! Brutus has a sweet disposition and is friendly and affectionate with people right from the start. He’s easygoing, too – 30 minutes after we met him, he curled up and relaxed on the floor while the humans chatted around him. Rescued after being abandoned behind a restaurant, Brutus is estimated to be two to four years old. He is a good-size boy, weighing about 60 pounds, but is gentle and aware of his size. He takes well to being handled and groomed with a brush. Brutus walks nicely on leash and seems to be good around other dogs, showing interest and keeping calm.
