We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. August 11, 2026, 7:04 am

Story
Somebody has a perfect sit, and what a sweetie! Hadley is estimated to about 6 months old and weighs 44 pounds right now. Hadley is such an adorable, affectionate girl who is eager to find a family to love her! Her only care is to get attention, being close to you and leaning in, soaking up all the love she can get. One of her favorite pastimes is playing fetch with soft toys, and she has impeccable manners, releasing her toys with a simple "drop" command. Hadley is also a pro at sitting and is working on mastering other basic obedience skills. Hadley is always looking to her handler for direction and seems to really catch on quickly to things. As she is still a little puppy mouthy and likes to jump up for attention, Hadley is eager to find a home that can provide the structure and guidance she needs to continue growing and learning to be the best pup she can be. With her social, playful and happy nature, she is going to make a wonderful best friend. Hadley would love it if you came to meet her, she can't wait for a family to love. She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hadley would love to meet them. She has a friendly, loose approach with other dogs and then immediately likes to play. She seems to really love other dogs and is very drawn to them. If you are interested in Hadley and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
