Story
🌟 Hi everyone, it’s me — Milo! 🌟 I didn’t get the easiest start in life, but I’m doing amazing now! I have something called HOD (it’s a bone thing that can make growing pups sore), but with lots of love and care, I’m healthy, playful, and finally the goofy puppy I was always meant to be — just in time for the holidays! ❄️🎄💚 Here’s a little about me: 🐾 I LOVE kids — I’m gentle and fun! 🐾 Other dogs? Heck yes! I’d love a doggy friend to play with! 🐾 Potty trained & crate trained — I’m basically a perfect angel when you’re not home 😉 🐾 Food motivated + eager to please = training is my superpower! 🐾 Professional cuddle monster + certified goofball 🐶💚 I’m ready to snuggle, play, and bring all the holiday joy to my forever family. Could that be you? 🎁✨ ✨ Ready to bring me home for the holidays? Apply for me here: ➡️ underdogrescueranch.com/adopt

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Buddy, one of two new residents at The Mikey & Me Kennels in Chelsea for Happy Days Rescue. Buddy is a Rottweiler Mix, he’s extremely sweet, I believe him to be about 8 months of age, and he weighs about 45 pounds. He sits patiently in his kennel at mealtime and he is just starting to enjoy going outdoors. We could see that going outdoors is something Buddy had to assess and evaluate for his safety. I don’t think Buddy has had much outdoor time but he’s slowly adapting to this new world. Buddy has a beautiful, short-haired coat. His first Vet appt. in Dexter is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th. He will have a physical exam, heart worm test, and he will receive other vaccinations at that time. He came to us with some vaccinations and he’s been on flea/tick meds.  If you would like to meet this handsome boy, please submit an adoption application under his name at  happydaysdogandcatrescue.org . Otherwise, please share Buddy’s bio with your friends and family so he can be in a warm family home for the Holidays. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143       Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 19, 2025, 5:30 am

Story
Tilly is a beauty and look at that smile! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 44 pounds. Meet Tilly, a gorgeous young lady with a playful spirit and a heart full of hope. She's so puppyish and silly, she does the cutest zoomies that will make you laugh! Tilly is a little unsure of herself though and can be a bit submissive and hand-shy, but with your patience and love, she'll flourish. She's so young, very trainable, and eager to please, always looking to her human for reassurance and guidance. She's a sensitive soul, looking for a person to be her leader and provide the comfort and consistency she needs to build her confidence. With your love and support, Tilly will repay you with a lifetime of devotion and plenty of adorable antics. She can’t wait for a family to love. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. If you are interested in Tilly and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Meet Karl! Karl is a 4-year-old Rottweiler mix (about 70 lbs) with a heart as big as his bark. Don’t let his voice fool you—this handsome guy is as sweet as they come. He loves nothing more than doing zoomies in the yard, going on long walks where he can sniff every interesting smell, and ending the day with snuggles from his favorite people.Karl is also a true gentleman—he’s not jumpy, and even when he’s running around the yard, he slows down before greeting you with his calm, happy energy. He`s also an absolute angel on the leash! We haven`t had the chance to formally introduce him to another dog here, but what we`ve observed so far is that he`s very calm and not too interested in other dogs or cats. He`s been in close contact with cats on our property and not shown any reaction. The dogs he has gotten close to and has had a good reaction to are some of our calmer dogs. However, we believe that with the correct introductions, Karl could thrive in a home with other siblings whether they be canine, feline or human. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-worthy sweetness, Karl is ready to be your guy. If you would like to meet Karl, please submit an application for him on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. He is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Karl`s adoption fee is $250, which covers part of the medical care he has received.**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.

Story
Meet the Inferno Pack – EMBER! Date of Birth: September 27, 2025Breed: Rottweiler & German ShepherdWeight: 11lbs Ember is a sweet and social puppy looking for her forever home! This spirited pup is full of life and adventure, and she’s ready to find a family that can match her enthusiasm and put her boundless energy to good use. At this age, Ember's personality is just beginning to erupt! Ember needs an active family who will be around more often than not to help her with house training and socialization. She thrives in environments where she can learn and explore, and she’s eager to bond with her humans. Due to her youthful exuberance, Ember is not a good fit for households with older dogs or senior citizens, who may be overwhelmed by her puppy energy. Experience with large breeds, specifically Rottweilers or German Shepherds, is especially helpful, as it provides insight into her needs and behaviors. Ember would flourish in a home with dog-savvy children who can engage with her in play and understanding. Ember is looking for someone who has experience with house training and understands the importance of socialization during her formative months. As a developing puppy, she is eager to learn and grow, making positive training sessions a must! It’s important to note that Ember would not thrive in an apartment, condo, or mobile home due to her need for space and activity. A home with a secure yard where she can romp and play would be ideal to help her burn off excess energy and stay happy and healthy. If you have a lively household and the time, energy, and experience to care for an active puppy like Ember, she may be the perfect companion for you! Ember can go home with you but will remain in foster-to-adopt status until the sterilization surgery has been completed at 6 months of age at one of our partner veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clawson, Clinton Twp, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable. Ember is:Current on age-appropriate vaccinations DewormedReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedWill be scheduled for neuter surgery at one of partner Veterinary offices at 6 months of age.ADOPTION FEE: $450 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2588518##
