Story
🌟 Hi friends — I’m Milo! 🌟 I didn’t have the easiest start to life, but I’ve come a long way and I’m thriving now! I was diagnosed with HOD (Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy), a condition that can affect growing puppies and cause bone pain when they’re undernourished or growing rapidly. Thanks to consistent care, proper nutrition, and lots of love, I’m doing AMAZING. 💚 ✨ The great news: • I’m currently symptom-free • I’m on minimal pain medication as a precaution • Proper nutrition has made a huge difference, and I’m now growing comfortably and happily Today, I’m a healthy, playful, goofy puppy — just like I was always meant to be — and I’m more than ready to find my forever family this holiday season! ❄️🎄 A little about me: 🐾 I love kids — I’m gentle, patient, and fun 🐾 Other dogs? YES please! I’d love a canine buddy 🐾 Potty trained & crate trained — I’m a total angel when you’re away 😉 🐾 Food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a breeze 🐾 Professional cuddle monster + certified goofball 🐶💚 I’m ready to snuggle, play, and fill your home with laughter, love, and holiday cheer. 🎁✨ 💫 Think we might be a match? Apply to adopt me here: ➡️ underdogrescueranch.com/adopt Your couch and heart won’t know what hit it. 😉

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Buddy, one of two new residents at The Mikey & Me Kennels in Chelsea for Happy Days Rescue. Buddy is a Rottweiler Mix, he’s extremely sweet, I believe him to be about 8 months of age, and he weighs about 45 pounds. He sits patiently in his kennel at mealtime and he is just starting to enjoy going outdoors. We could see that going outdoors is something Buddy had to assess and evaluate for his safety. I don’t think Buddy has had much outdoor time but he’s slowly adapting to this new world. Buddy has a beautiful, short-haired coat. His first Vet appt. in Dexter is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th. He will have a physical exam, heart worm test, and he will receive other vaccinations at that time. He came to us with some vaccinations and he’s been on flea/tick meds.  If you would like to meet this handsome boy, please submit an adoption application under his name at  happydaysdogandcatrescue.org . Otherwise, please share Buddy’s bio with your friends and family so he can be in a warm family home for the Holidays. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143       Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Maxine has the most beautiful coloring! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 38 pounds. Meet Maxine, a delightful young lady with a heart as big as her playful spirit! This attentive girl is always looking for soft pets and love. Maxine is a real people-pleaser and is eager to learn, already mastering the 'sit' command and fetching tennis balls with a gentle, soft mouth. She's a little ray of sunshine, full of spunk and she does the cutest play bows! She can be a little submissive when there is a lot going on though, so some confidence building would be amazing for her. Maxine is on the lookout for a family who has the time up front to work on trust building and positive socialization - she is open and ready to understand the world but needs a leader to guide her. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. Maxine can’t wait to have a forever family to love. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Maxine would love to meet them. She has a loose approach with other dogs with play bows. She seems very open to engaging, but everything seems new to her, and she likes to “check in” with you for guidance. If you are interested in Maxine and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

This gal is the last of her litter and is ready to go!! Wasabi fits her perfectly as she is a spicy little girl! She lets you know she is around and wants attention. She is friendly, sweet and has super puppy energy…. She will need an active family to keep up with her. She gets along with other dogs, kids and doesn't meet a stranger. She will need all the basic puppy training and learn cat manners if needed. She is a wonderful gal ready to get going with a forever family. She is located in Tennessee and can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
