This is Arlo he is very loved and we are so sad to be making this decision. He will be 5 in August and has lots of energy. Arlo is very loving, loyal, and sweet. He likes car rides and going anywhere he can. Some more information about him: Neutered- yes Good with kids- best if older, he’s not aggressive but does get excited easily reminds me of a bull in a china shop Good with dogs- yes Good with cats- yes Vaccinations- expiring soon but mostly up to date He deserves a home that will have room for him to run and play and people who will have time to dedicate to him as he loves to be loved on and played with. We ask: No apartments as his breed is on the restricted list Preferably experience with larger dogs Willing to send an update or picture every now and then (nothing crazy just want to see him happy as we’ve had him since he was a puppy) Must be open to a meet and greet with him beforehand We are willing to drive anywhere in west MI

Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

Tulip Fondness A18192173 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -This sweet girl is still finding her footing and taking the world in one sniff at a time. On leash, she’s strong and determined, with her nose leading the way, so she’ll do best with someone who’s comfortable handling a powerful puller and open to working on leash skills together.-Once inside, she took a little time to settle, exploring at her own pace before warming up. Treats helped her feel more confident, and she showed off her manners by sitting when asked, taking snacks gently, and even catching them like a pro! As she relaxed, her affectionate side began to bloom — she came over for pets, sweetly pawed for attention, and happily leaned in for more love.-With a bit more time and reassurance, she truly blossomed. She followed along to a cozy spot, sat close, soaked up affection, and eventually rolled over to offer her belly — a sure sign of growing trust. She’s not into toys right now, but people? Very much yes.-This girl is a tender soul who just needs patience, consistency, and a calm home to help her fully relax and shine. With the right person, she’s going to be a deeply loving and loyal companion. 🐾💖Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Cerberus is a very loving and gentle Rottweiler. He loves people and children, and has always done very well with other animals. At 130lbs, he still believes that he is a lap dog. I am extremely sad to rehome him, but with my change in work/travel schedule, I am unable to be with him daily.
