Story
Hi, This is MontanaHe`ll be a loyal companion. He enjoys being petted and to lay by your side. He can be a little unsure of new spaces and lacks a little confidence but once he feels confident he`s a really fun dog. He walks well on a leash and will enjoy walks with you.He knows basic commands like sit and stay and he would love to go to obedient classes to be a top notch dog. He plays with toys and tends to have an interest in soft squeaky toys. He will chase a ball but isn`t real sure how to bring it back to you. In time he will be the best dog.He enjoys to play with dogs his own size and his same energy. So if you have a canine friend bring him by to meet Montana and see how they get along. As for cats, he would be best in a home without a feline companion. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is SPONSOREDMontana cannot wait to meet you. Zoey is an energetic 3 year old Rottie. She is a big baby, very sweet. She loves attention and is very affectionate. Zoey should not be around smaller dogs. We have a Yorkie, and they do not get along. Zoey is house-broken. She loves playing with her toys. Outdoor fun is her favorite, esp in the snow. She is very protective as well.

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. Story
A family friend found the dog a little over a year ago. We took her in, so she didn't have to go to a shelter. It was never our intention to keep her, but finding her a fur-ever home has been quite challenging. So, ever few months we have been trying. We haven't had any luck She has had accidents in the beginning as well as chewing. The chewing is to be expected because she's a Rottweiler. She is approximately around 3 years of age. She deserves and wants all the love. We do let her on the furniture. She would need a completely fenced in yard. We also lock her up while we are gone. She really is a sweet girl and we want what's best for her.
