I was surrendered to the rescue with a broken tibia that had been left untreated, and I was in so much pain. But the amazing people here immediately got me the surgery I needed and I am now fully recovered and ready to conquer the world! I’m an active dog who loves to run, jump, and play. I’m also very intelligent and need mental stimulation to prevent boredom. Like many Rottweilers, I thrive on having a job to do. If you don’t provide me with one, I might find my own. Once I’ve channeled my energy, I become a very sweet affectionate and cuddly companion. I’m eager to find my forever home and embark on new adventures. I’m up to date on all my vet visits, housebroken, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. I know how to sit and shake. My new family should be prepared to continue working on my obedience skills and keeping my mind sharp. I am friendly with people and adore children. I will climb in your lap if you let me, I love to snuggle and I am very affectionate. I love to go for rides in the car, play at the park and go for walks on trails. I am friendly with people and love to play. I love to play ball and enjoy playing with the other rottweiler safe toys that my foster mom gives me. My favorite toy to play with is a giant rope bone! I do well with female dogs, but I do not get along with other male dogs. And as far as I am concerned cats look like great chew toys to me, so foster Mom says I need a home without cats. I would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where I can run and play, and with an owner who can provide leadership for me. I do well with older kids, but would be best in a home with out small children. I have had extensive obedience training and know all my basic commands. I am neutered, up to date on all vaccines and heart worm negative. I am housebroken, crate trained and microchipped. Now, you might be wondering how I ended up here at the rescue. Well, my owner had no choice but to surrender me after she was evicted and couldn’t find housing that would allow me to I stay with her. I’m having a great time here at the rescue, but I truly want to find a forever home where I can be someone’s best friend. I’m well-behaved and walk nicely on a leash. I listen attentively and know how to sit, down, and give my paw. Oh, and let me tell you, I really love giving my paw! I’m also a toy enthusiast and enjoy playing with them. My favorite thing to do is to sit between your legs and get my ears and head rubbed. I am great with children. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and heart worm negative. I’ve also been neutered and microchipped. While I don’t mind the other dogs when they walk past my crate, I haven’t had any playdates yet, so I’m not sure how I would get along with them.
