Story
Raylee is a stunningly serious beauty that is a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever mix girl who is 4 years old and weighs 75 pounds.  Her look is truly all Rottweiler except that she has no red highlights on her body like a Rottie.  This four year old girl was dumped by her family after the new baby arrived even though they have had this precious girl since she was a pup.  Even though having the first 3 children, she demonstrated that she was gentle and loving with the kids, the fourth arrival put the family in stress/crisis and they now have decided they have NO TIME for her in their life.  How sad that her life means nothing to them now.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is going to make her the princess again in some family’s life and someone will gain a great dog.  Raylee is a big baby herself and has many years of happiness and love to spread around to a family who will value her.  She rides well in a car, has excellent house manners, and gets along with everyone.   Raylee is a perfect combination of both the Rottweiler breed and the Lab diversity in getting along with everyone.  This girl is a gentle giant that will prove to be a loving family member that is also smart, a thorough thinker and most of all loyal.  Rottie/Lab mixes are wonderful family dogs that will stick with you till the very end.  Can you promise Raylee your love and care till the very end?  If so please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 7, 2023, 1:07 pm

Story
SOS Critter Cavalry Rescue needs a Rottweiler home for this beautiful 2 year old, 75 pound girl that  appears to be 100% Rottweiler and has all the great traits of the breed. She has the docked tail, the total coloring and the body conformation with the intelligence to match.  She is a happy girl that showed up 3 weeks ago to a home in rural Tennessee.  It appears that she has had puppies in the past and now we have spayed her so that will never be a problem again.  This girl is a happy soul that adores boy dogs and is fine with non alpha females.  She loves people and children as most Rotties do.  She will chase the outdoor cats so we would say No to Cats and to Chickens.  Too tempting for her.  This is a working breed girl who will hold her family in the high place of love and devotion in her life.  No one claimed her but we can tell she has been someone’s girl.  She is very loving and easy going and meets new people with lots of body wiggles and a happy dance.  Please help us find this Rottweiler girl a great home!  Available NOW!   Email ASAP!   ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 7, 2023, 1:07 pm

Story
Quick Facts about Ramona Breed: There is nothing factual here, but her momma seems to be some form of Rottweiler mix, but she might have some Hound features. So, Rottweiler/Hound mix it is. Size: We expect she will grow to be about a medium-sized dog Age: 10 months (As of January 2023) House Trained: Mostly! She may still have a few accidents here or there, but she’s doing great in her foster home. *Requirement for Fencing: A 6 foot fence is required IF you have a fence. Applicants are not required to have a fenced in property in order to adopt.* Ramona came to the rescue when she was found chained up outside with her sister, Beezus, and mama, Quimby. We stepped into action and took these adorable pups into our care to show them what love is! She will be your right hand lady on every adventure - she loves all things active and loves to explore the world.. so much, that she can jump any fence under 6ft and will require a leash in these environments. Ramona is still very much a puppy and loves to run and play with toys and thoroughly enjoys her peanut butter filled kongs. She also LOVES to snuggle and lay her head on your lap, almost as much as she loves her 4 legged foster siblings. Ramona has previously been fostered with cats and did well. She has met several kids and did well, though she does still prefer her personal bubble to not be constantly invaded. Ramona is still working on obedience, house and crate training, and continued training will be essential for her to become her best self! Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Ramona is $308 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
We call Desperado, King Desperado for a good reason. He fiercely protects and defends his foster dad and his domain there in the foster home.  You see Desperado lost his owner to bad times and bad things that his owner decided to do.  5 months ago his owner ended up behind bars and so did King Desperado and his brother end up behind the bars in a small town rural shelter. His brother fell ill in the shelter and passed away.  Miraculously Desperado was spared and there he stayed and languished with no one visiting the shelter to adopt many of the dogs there.  Just at Christmas the shelter was cleaning house.  Taking all the dogs that had been there for a while and putting them on the euthanize list.  Desperado was on the list but Critter Cavalry Rescue had fosters who stepped up to take him out of the shelter and literally save his life.  Desperado is a work in progress but here are some fun facts about him that foster Joshua says you really need to know about this great 2 year old boy dog that weighs 65 pounds. 1: He will kennel with no complaints when you need to leave the house or go to bed, tho he much prefers to occupy the same space as you in bed as opposed to being kenneled. 2: He does not know what personal space is, his favorite thing in the world is giving kisses and snuggling his people. 3: He has med/high energy, but is also very much a couch potato. 4: He plays like a boxer and walks like a hound. We are working on leash etiquette. 5: He is dog reactive on leash, but we have not tested him with other dogs free in the yard. 6: We are working with a trainer to try and curb this reactivity, as well as some basic obedience. 7: A 4 ft fence will keep him contained, and is highly recommended. He will bolt if he gets on an interesting scent. 8: He has liked every human he has met both big and small, tho he may be a bit excitable near little kids, I'd say 8+ is good to go. 9: 100% house broken, and easily learned the bathroom routine in my house. 10: He is EXTREMELY food motivated. 11: He is a bit jumpy but is gentle about it.  It probably comes from spending 5 months in a shelter and not having his confidence built up in his life.  All this can and will change. His foster dad knows that Desperado is going to be an amazing dog with just a little more work and stability in his life.  He only got out of the shelter just before Christmas and boy was that a gift to him!  His foster dad has him in training for the leash reactions which many dogs have.  He adores people…he loves life and you will love Desperado and his devotion to YOU and your family!  We request that you have a fenced yard if you adopt.  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  mention where you live please…city and state. We transport all over!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 7, 2023, 1:07 pm

Story
My name is Momma Abby but you can call me QUEEN ABBY.   I am a recent momma dog that gave birth to six beautiful puppies on Thanksgiving of 2022, November 24th to be exact.  I came from a sad overcrowding situation at a home that would be considered hoarding.  I gave birth in a clean home and my babies are being adopted to great new families right now.  I was a great momma to my babies and I live with a single woman who just adores me and I adore her.   I am housebroken and I have learned how to live very well with her other 4 dogs, big and small.  I am crated when she is gone and I look forward to her returning to give me attention after her work day.  I am truly on my way to getting my figure back.  I am mostly a Boxer breed and I came from the Memphis Tennessee area and am in a foster home in Nashville, Tn right now.  I am very sweet and enjoy people but I will protect and guard my foster mom’s home if I think someone is a danger to my foster mom.  I love the new life that is ahead for me.  I am currently guessed to be 2 years old and weigh 48 pounds. I am being spayed on March 14th and then I will be absolutely your girl forever and every again.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in giving me the home that I have always dreamed about. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 7, 2023, 1:07 pm

Story
Deja is a really great girl that found herself in a very bad situation. When she was turned in to the local kill shelter, we knew we had to step up and save this sweet girl. When the girls like Deja get admitted to an already crowded small town kill shelter, it takes a miracle from God to save their life.  Well Deja got that miracle and as a young Bulldog/Boxer/Lab mix around 2 years old, this girl is going to really bring some sunshine to their life.  This dog is a true athlete and is a very fit and strong girl of 54 lbs. All Deja wants in life is to please you and spread her happy attitude and personality with everyone she meets.  She would be the perfectcompanion for an active person that enjoys hiking, running or just being outside. She loves her toys, almost too much, so you can only give her those indestructible Tuff and durable toys.  At her foster place she loves to spend her days playing outside or just lounging in the sunshine with her current best friend. Deja is fully vetted and ready to find her new home. Her best friend is Polar. (FYI - her current best friend is also available for adoption! We could certainly make a DEAL for a double adoption).  Contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 7, 2023, 1:07 pm
