Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there! My name is Zora the Explorer, and I’m a lovable, energetic 11-month-old Rottweiler.   I was surrendered to the rescue with a broken tibia that had been left untreated, and I was in so much pain. But the amazing people here immediately got me the surgery I needed and I am now fully recovered and ready to conquer the world!   I’m an active dog who loves to run, jump, and play. I’m also very intelligent and need mental stimulation to prevent boredom. Like many Rottweilers, I thrive on having a job to do. If you don’t provide me with one, I might find my own. Once I’ve channeled my energy, I become a very sweet affectionate and cuddly companion. I’m eager to find my forever home and embark on new adventures.   I’m up to date on all my vet visits, housebroken, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. I know how to sit and shake. My new family should be prepared to continue working on my obedience skills and keeping my mind sharp.   I am friendly with people and adore children. I love other dogs, but I believe I’d do best in a home without small dogs or cats. My foster mom says I play a bit too rough with them.   I’m thrilled about the prospect of meeting my new family and starting this exciting chapter of my life! If you’re interested in adopting me, please submit your application now at http://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Ash, and I’m the sweetest 1-year-old Rottweiler you’ll ever meet. All I want to do is shower you with love and make you happy. I will sit in front of you as I close as I can possibly get to you without crawling up inside you. Oh and I love to play ball too!   In my past life, I was severely neglected and taken away from my owner. But since coming to the rescue, I’ve experienced the joy of being loved and treated with kindness for the first time in my life.   I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. However, I’m not yet housebroken or crate-trained, so my new family will need to be patient and committed to working with me. It’s like having a new puppy, but in a much bigger package. But trust me, I’m worth it! I have so much love to give, and I just need someone to see my potential and give me a chance. I promise to repay you tenfold with love.   If you’re interested in adopting me, please submit an application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Remi, but sometimes my foster mom calls me Sybill because you never know what personality I’ll have on any given day.   One day, I’m super sweet and a love bug. The next day, I’m a fun-loving guy who wants to play ball most of the day. And the following day, I might be a big a**hole  who doesn’t listen to anything at all. I become a big man in charge and will bulldoze you and anyone in my way.   But don’t worry, I’ll protect you, my owner, with everything I have. I’ll over-love you and my home, and I’ll make myself such a big presence in your life that you will feel crowded by me. If you’re a TRUE Rottweiler lover, then you must come meet me and ALL of my personalities. Oh and I should be the only pet in the home, because hey you never know which of my personalities will or won’t get along with your other pets!   I’m neutered, up-to-date on my vaccines, heart worm negative, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped and am ready to ride. So, if you’re up for an adventure, I’m your guy and ready to give you the ride of a lifetime.   If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an  application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoption    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Romeo and I am a very handsome 2 year old Rottweiler. There is a reason my name is Romeo. I will climb in your lap if you let me, I love to snuggle and I am very affectionate. I love to go for rides in the car, play at the park and go for walks on trails. I am friendly with people and love to play. I love to play ball and enjoy playing with the other rottweiler safe toys that my foster mom gives me. My favorite toy to play with is a giant rope bone! I do well with female dogs, but I do not get along with other male dogs. And as far as I am concerned cats look like great chew toys to me, so foster Mom says I need a home without cats.    I would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where I can run and play, and with an owner who can provide leadership for me. I do well with older kids, but would be best in a home with out small children. I have had extensive obedience training and know all my basic commands. I am neutered, up to date on all vaccines and heart worm negative. I am housebroken, crate trained and microchipped. Story
Hi, I’m Hugh! I’m a 4-year-old pittie/boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. Everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest boy. I’ve never met a stranger, and I especially love kids! Life wasn’t always easy for me, but I’m making up for lost time with all the love and energy I have to share. I’m neutered, crate trained, and fully up to date on my vaccines. I am heartworm positive, but some of the cost of treatment will be covered to help my future family get me healthy. Here’s what you should know about me: • Super people-friendly (love, love, love attention) • Kid-approved • High energy — I’m always ready for fun • Crate trained • Playful with dogs (I come in a little hot, but I just want to make friends) • No cats, please! I’m looking for a family who can give me the exercise, structure, and love I’ve been waiting for. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, I’d love to meet you!

Breed: Boxer / American Bulldg Size: Large; currently 90+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kids: no children for Bella Vida, but teenagers, may work! Dogs & cats: Bella Vida is looking to be the only pet in your home. --=========================== Bella Vida is a big personality wrapped in a beautiful white coat. She’s confident, sassy, and needs an assertive human who can match her alpha energy with calm leadership. She’s not exactly the Einstein of the dog world—and she’s definitely a little clumsy—but her goofy charm and lovable nature win everyone over. Bella’s the kind of girl who will make you laugh daily, whether it’s with her thunderous post-workout snoring or her signature backseat move: belly up, paws in the air, cruising in style. This quirky boxer has some strong opinions—especially when it comes to her ball of the day. With a collection of 15+ to choose from, she carefully selects the one and will turn up her nose at any other imposter. Don’t worry—she’ll dig through her toy basket until she finds the chosen one. Bella Vida is also a people-watching pro, spending hours at the window like a little watchdog queen. She’s got love to give, a personality that fills the room, and a funny streak that never quits. She’s not for the faint of heart—but if you’re ready to be her partner in crime, she’ll be your fiercely loyal, endlessly entertaining best friend.
