Story
Koda is a 2-year-old pup, he is very friendly and energetic. He loves to be next to you most of the time. He loves going on walks. He is house-trained and he will let you know when he needs to go out. He is trained with simple commands like, sit, stay, no, come, go. Koda is great with all kids but recommended for ages 8 and up. He is very playful and he can forget to be calmer with younger kids. Unfortunately, I am relocating due to a new job my next home will be a small apartment and I won't be able to keep him with me.

Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Tessa. I am a 2 year old Rottweiler. I am a European import and I come from working lines. Because of this my foster mom says I can only go to an experienced Rottweiler home. She says I am definitely not the gal for a first time Rottweiler owner. Now that we got that out of the way let me tell you a little bit about me. I absolutely LOVE TO PLAY, I love my toys, especially my ball and Kong, so I will definitely need some of those in my new home. I am friendly with people and I have been fine with the few dogs that I have been introduced to at the rescue. If you have another dog, we will need to do a meet and greet with proper introductions and see how it goes. No cats for me though. Now I know my foster mom already told you I love my toys, sometimes though I don’t like to share them, but once I trust you well then that’s a whole different story so…. If you have patience, and lots of toys I will probably trade you my toy for yours! I am housebroken, crate trained, spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. I travel well, my bags are packed and I am just waiting for my forever family to find me. **To complete an application please go to http://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 10, 2024, 10:23 pm

Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes --=========================== ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!
