Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Ash, and I’m the sweetest 1-year-old Rottweiler you’ll ever meet. All I want to do is shower you with love and make you happy. I will sit in front of you as I close as I can possibly get to you without crawling up inside you. Oh and I love to play ball too!   In my past life, I was severely neglected and taken away from my owner. But since coming to the rescue, I’ve experienced the joy of being loved and treated with kindness for the first time in my life.   I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. However, I’m not yet housebroken or crate-trained, so my new family will need to be patient and committed to working with me. It’s like having a new puppy, but in a much bigger package. But trust me, I’m worth it! I have so much love to give, and I just need someone to see my potential and give me a chance. I promise to repay you tenfold with love.   If you’re interested in adopting me, please submit an application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. I am new to the rescue. My foster mom will update when she learns more about me.For more information and to submit an application, got to www.arrfnc.com. Thanks!November 16, 2025, 10:32 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Remi, but sometimes my foster mom calls me Sybill because you never know what personality I’ll have on any given day.   One day, I’m super sweet and a love bug. The next day, I’m a fun-loving guy who wants to play ball most of the day. And the following day, I might be a big a**hole  who doesn’t listen to anything at all. I become a big man in charge and will bulldoze you and anyone in my way.   But don’t worry, I’ll protect you, my owner, with everything I have. I’ll over-love you and my home, and I’ll make myself such a big presence in your life that you will feel crowded by me. If you’re a TRUE Rottweiler lover, then you must come meet me and ALL of my personalities. Oh and I should be the only pet in the home, because hey you never know which of my personalities will or won’t get along with your other pets!   I’m neutered, up-to-date on my vaccines, heart worm negative, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped and am ready to ride. So, if you’re up for an adventure, I’m your guy and ready to give you the ride of a lifetime.   If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an  application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoption    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! I’m Kat, and I’m looking for my People! Have you ever wanted a Rottweiler’s loyalty in a slightly smaller package? That’s me! I’m a  medium sized   girl , which just means I’m the perfect size for car rides and taking up exactly half of the sofa. A Little About Me I’ll be honest—the big, wide world can be a little scary for me sometimes. When I’m in a new place or meeting new faces, I might move a little slow or look to you for a bit of bravery. But once I know I’m safe? I am all  wiggles and love . I’m 3 years old, which means I’m past that silly puppy stage. I’m ready to be your devoted companion, your shadow, and your professional lap-warmer. I promise that if you give me just a little bit of patience while I find my feet, I will give you my whole heart in return. I get along well with other dogs!  I do really well with furry friends. Having a doggy brother or sister to hang out with actually helps me feel a lot more confident when I’m exploring new things. If you already have a pup at home, I’d love to meet them! My 'Pawsitive' Stats I’ve been working hard to stay healthy so I can be ready for you! &#226&#156&#133 I’m spayed . &#226&#156&#133 I’m up-to-date on all my pokes (vaccines). &#226&#156&#133 I’m microchipped (so I can always find my way back to you). My Dream Home I’d love a family that doesn't mind a dog who is a little bit of a 'shy soul' at first. I’d be a great family pet—I just want a place where I can feel secure and loved. Do you have a spot in your heart for a girl like me?  I’ve got my bags packed and I’m just waiting for the right person to say, 'Let’s go home, Kat.' Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Einstein. He’s a 2-year-old male Rottweiler with a heart of gold and a brain that’s… well, mostly just static and elevator music. He might not be the one to solve a puzzle toy or learn his left from his right, but he’s the world champion of "happy to be here." If you’re looking for a dog who will never judge your life choices (mostly because he doesn't understand them), Einstein is your guy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He is up to date on all his vaccines, and microchipped. He loves to play with toys and play catch, that is if he actually sees you throw it, otherwise he will just stand there staring at you just waiting…oh and he loves to get pet and would love a couch to snuggle up on. If Einstein has already stolen a piece of your heart or just seems to be your speed of Rottie boy, please submit an application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi.
