Story
Quick Facts about Ramona Breed: There is nothing factual here, but her momma seems to be some form of Rottweiler mix, but she might have some Hound features. So, Rottweiler/Hound mix it is. Size: We expect she will grow to be about a medium-sized dog Age: 10 months (As of January 2023) House Trained: Mostly! She may still have a few accidents here or there, but she’s doing great in her foster home. *Requirement for Fencing: A 6 foot fence is required IF you have a fence. Applicants are not required to have a fenced in property in order to adopt.* Ramona came to the rescue when she was found chained up outside with her sister, Beezus, and mama, Quimby. We stepped into action and took these adorable pups into our care to show them what love is! She will be your right hand lady on every adventure - she loves all things active and loves to explore the world.. so much, that she can jump any fence under 6ft and will require a leash in these environments. Ramona is still very much a puppy and loves to run and play with toys and thoroughly enjoys her peanut butter filled kongs. She also LOVES to snuggle and lay her head on your lap, almost as much as she loves her 4 legged foster siblings. Ramona has previously been fostered with cats and did well. She has met several kids and did well, though she does still prefer her personal bubble to not be constantly invaded. Ramona is still working on obedience, house and crate training, and continued training will be essential for her to become her best self! Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Ramona is $308 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Amazing Ava is a friendly girl that is true blue loyal, kind, easy-to-train, and a gentle giant of a girl. She is fun to have around, calm, and a great partner for playing in the yard.  She would be a fabulous hiking friend and she is described as a great all around personality by her foster mom who certainly knows great dogs.  These are the stats and highlights that make her a great dog.  Amazing Ava is a gorgeous young girl that is just 18 months old, weighs 80 lbs, and is gloriously housetrained! If you are looking for a dog that is ALWAYS IN A GOOD MOOD….she is your girl.  She loves walks and hikes and is game for whatever adventure you want to start on.   Ava gets along well with other dogs and excellent with children.  We call this girl a Rottador, her mother is a Rottweiler and father is a labrador retriever.  Ava would make the best family dog you will ever want.   It is not the outside look of a dog but the inside sweetness and temperament of a dog that garners the brownie points in life.  She is a KEEPER!  She has been spayed, UTD on vaccinations and a very healthy girl.  If you are interested in adopting the best dog you could ever own then Amazing Ava is the girl!  Contact us at Critter Cavalry Rescue by emailing to ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 29, 2023, 1:10 pm

Story
Smiling Sadie is a beautiful representation of a 5 year old purebred Rottweiler! Her previous owner allowed her to roam freely, so she has had multiple litters of puppies and was recently spayed but when she was dropped off at the vet office, the owner never returned to get her.  This poor girl was abandoned and now we are trying to help her find a good home.  Smiling Sadie deserves a loving forever home where she can be spoiled rotten for the first time in her life!  What we know about this girl is that she a FUN DOG, goofy and she loves to play fetch the ball.  A home with children over 10 yrs is best due to her size and energy.  She has shown a ton of improvement with socialization while in foster care and can be considered for a home with other dogs that are large and share her energy level and play style.  A meet and greet will be required first.  No Cats or small animals should be in the home.  We just cannot say that we trust her with the small creatures.  If you are out of state we can adopt to you, but not if you have other pets or dogs.  She could easily be an ONLY dog but if she goes on a trial run in Tennessee, she is close enough for a return if things don't work out.  She is pretty good on a leash and almost housebroken.  She is a strong girl that is loving and just wants some attention. PLEASE EMAIL AT ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 29, 2023, 1:10 pm
